Yeah people definitely want to hear something jamming and techno like I see. You have these lengthy dj dance ready mixes mastered to the tea. Agree with riot, has that ps2 flare to it. Could possibly fit a fraction of soundtracks on the almost 2,000 game titles made for the system. There are a shitload of games, it's ridiculous. Real tight mix as you have persisted to do with your tracks. Real great work FR, peace
Cheers GC, Thought i'd go for something a little harder this time round. I like the PS2 connection as that was my gaming era (these days i find them all too difficult and can't really be bothered anymore. My usual routine is to buy a load of games, play them for one or two levels, get stuck and then never play them again lol)
Glad you could stop by and listen to this rather large track.
FR
Superb progression, awesome beats, superb electronics ie if im to sound pro then awesome Arps,Pads,Synths,Effects, reverb, delay and all them other blh blh blh buttons lol.!
This is just fooking awesome.!
By 5.36 i got stiffy then it just got better.!
Oh and did i say this is any good? lol
Love the blending from one track to the other too,as if feels like a marrage made in heaven.!
Hey Yo,
awesome as usual, the bass drum break at 8:06 sounds a little to loud for me maybe the result of the shitty speakers but the rest is on point and absoluteley cool build up,i prefer the second half of this compilation most cause the marching bassline loop/synth make me wanna dance, great uplift´s and cool speaking voice´s as well, keep on bro*
DRO
this kind of hard hitting groove is something I aspire to. i am not quite there either conceptually or technically but dam - I'm gonna go there eventually. nothing to say but pure awesomeness. thanks for inspiration my friend. peace. Dan
Thanks. It's worth bearing in mind that i use a lot of pro loops so a lot of it is just a case of arrangement. The acid synths were made using the TB404 bass synthesizer and the 3OSC which you should have hidden amongst your toys in FL. I also used the harmor VST for the basslines. Pretty much the rest of it is just loops but hey ho! If it sounds good then who cares? I don't.
FR
Definitely made for the party. Really nice dnb tune here, jamming too good! That wavy main synth really sets the mood and pace for the groove. Excellent production, I could really keep listening to the main synth on repeat over and over and not get tired of it. I'm guessing you did a bit of panning automation and maybe some tweaking within the frequencies. Keep up the tuneage bro, peace
This is pretty hyperactive man! Loving the stereo field very much, has kind of a early 90s mostly analog vibe to it. Jammin guitar stuff too! Cool sub sort of bass, especially in the break in the middle. Love when techno and metal get fused usually, and this is a good one! Nicely done!
I'm glad you homed in on this one for two reasons. Firstly, because this is one of my favourite tracks that i've written (even though the quality of the mix isn't the best)
Secondly it highlighted the fact that i had two outstanding reviews from a year ago. I hate not replying to people and i can't understand how i miss so many but there you go, lifes a bitch.
Cheers for reminding me that this track exists because i'm now going to play it and bang my head.
FR
Hi FR!
nice one here! after 1.54 i've noticed that my toe started to twitch to the beat and it is a signal to my brain that the track is freakin' great! :) luv the synth work in 4.00, also glitchy sound at 7.13 makes me think that another track is starting but at the same time is continue of the original, awesome job mate!
Aciiiid! At bit edgier here and reminds me of the early days, before hard house! A more tech house feel with acid in the mix. Starts off really well with the first track (obviously!) and then the mix goes a bit quieter for track two. Yes track 1 and 3 are the stand out tracks. Quality as ever!
smallpaul - (Mixmag) hahahaha
I actually thought track 2 was the best one but there you go. I'd tried posting a different version but it had a glitch in it that i couldn't get rid of so i basically rewrote the whole track. I only spent about six or seven hours on it so it probably could use a little touching up. Cheers for dropping in and commenting.
FR
Nice work you have done, specialy for a "test"!
Like the flow of the mix
And like always, i had the feeling at the end of this track, that i could go on and on and on and on.
Hey FR,
absolute cool Music you offer here,
everything sounds awesome together and is mixed professional as well, i know you appreciate suggestions here is my first the change around 4:00 (which is good) should get an burst by an uplifting snareroll bevor the Bassdrum comes in second, the fadeout at the end where you have a fantasic snareroll around 9:15 could stopp at once at this point with a cool fx or something else, thats only my opinion and no criticism anyway,Good work as usual, enjoyed the listen :)

you're mixing using only FL Studio?
good job with the mix. all your tracks...
frequencies are the most in the journey.
and that oldschool style is increasingly present in their tracks.
is your favorite style?
I liked this psychedelic and intense style, tried something like Psy Trance?
I'd be curious to see it produce ...
This is a nice breakbeat track; at the start it sounds like a track for a video game, but after around 3 minutes it sounds more similar to music from Lunatic Calm than a video game soundtrack. I like how it sounds like a DJ set, but short, because the track changes the more you listen to it but it still sounds like one whole piece and not several put together, so it is nice.
If you have time, please check my electronic music in bandcamp (will be releasing more in later 2014).

Thanks, i wasn't sure about this because it was a headphone mix. I've been to your page and i thought you make some good stuff. Perhaps we should try a collab some time.

Alright fine I'll shall review this track. I don't really like to be one of those people who constantly listen to a track but doesn't leave feedback. I try to review as many as possible but of course there is always many others. But yea real great start with the first half FR.
That synth at the end of the first half got just a lil annoying, the ringing one? But that doesn't matter much in the grand scheme of things as I appreciate all elements a production involves. Not as easy as people may think.
2nd half is pretty mellowed out a bit and gets a lil deep house almost. I have some house tracks I've yet to finish. At least I think there house...hmm that's not the issue here though. The issue is why are you so good at long fricking tracks? ha
Like this build up rise at the 5:30 mark, this whole 2nd half vibe you started has this eastern feel to it after listening to it some more. 6:20 Those percussion like sounds that become more audible sounds like someone snapping their mouth with a mixture of someone flicking some cards about.
3rd half sounds like a nutty professors lab. lol and HA! at the vocal part towards the end. Now with that vocal bit it sounds like the 3rd half is a theme to some coked up techno loving gangster. Really love this production here FR, must of took alot of focus and patience. Excellent, peace
Must have missed this one, haven't been on much lately, let me explain. My septic system in my new (rented)house just crapped out on me and you just CAAAN'T put that shit off, lol! Been going on for like 3 weeks now, damn. OK now lets talk about this 3 song track of yours.
First part was pretty darn cool, very professional sounding, imho. The middle part takes on it's own feel and took me a few secs to acclimate to it. I liked the vocal snippets you used. The third part is a bit more rigid and really separates itself from the first two parts as far as it's feel and the vocal samples were cool. But I guess you want all three to be separate and still flow together, seems like you just did that pretty darn well.
Very cool track man. You have now mastered the 3 for 1 special. I will now bow in reverence. Namaste.
Hey Wayne cheers for stopping by. I hear you as i've had a similar problem with my drainage thanks to a plasterer pouring all his crap down it.
Glad you could stick around for all three tracks i think the first one is easily the best.
I'm currently working on a whole albums worth of a mix. I got 63 minutes so far and the end is in sight. It's hard to keep a mix going for 80 minutes i tell you.
Anyway, cheers again for your comments, they are always appreciated.
FR
Thanks Chris. This track seems to be relatively "popular" dare i say so i must have done something right. The first bit seems to be the one i'm getting the most comments about.
Are you seriously in the S.A.S. now? One minute your watching the skies then the next it's Andy McNab time. Your life takes you to some strange places huh?
Anyway, cheers for dropping in and leaving your thoughts.

Sweet jammin tune! Definitely a cool style. The guitar sampling is well done for sure! I liked how ALXSIX said it "all FLAWS so well," sounds like a slip to me...heh. The vocals are cool, and keep the tune moving! Fun to hear some older stuff for a change. There's nothing wrong with changing how you do things. Totally a fave!
