Well, I finally had a good 10 mins set aside to give the track a listen. I saw the track for a few days now but wanted to give it full attention...even if I was surfin' the webs :)

Another great track FR. You have skills at making enjoyable music. Fun. And of course the female vocals, I LOVE female vocals. Nothing goes better with house. Or with many genres for that matter.

I thought all of the 10 mins of this track was great. My fav of yours that I've heard to date. I faved.

Glad you could stay and listen to the full track. I know ten minutes is a bit too long for some peoples attention span (especially when they just drop in to bump their own track. But hey! I think we're all guilty of that from time to time)
Glad you liked the female vox. I bought some vocal packs from loopmasters and thats the first track i've done where i was actually able to use them. Hopefully more like this to come.
Cheers for dropping in.

Hi Fr

liked the freestyle of samples and loops.
Sweet minimix, upsets are perfect.
the house is a classic song that lasts for generations and will never go out of style.
you seem like oldschool style or am I wrong?

Classic track, reminds me of the old dancemusic.

you have good taste.

keep it up!!!!

respect

FreeRadical replied 11th Jul 2014 - 11 years ago
Yeah i'm to old to be down with the kids now. Old school was my generation so the sound has kind of stuck with me (and i've stuck with it)
I agree that classic house will never die so i'll keep on plugging it until i can't do it anymore.
Cheers for dropping in and checking this tune out. Your comments are always welcome.

Sweet track FR,
It really reminds me of a track that is quiet popular here lately, it features almost the exact same bass with the same notes (so now I know where that sample came from haha)

Love the mini mixes you make like this, the sound is always pretty neat ;)

Cheers

Just for a second I thought I was going to hear one excellent track!!?? Should have known better! Three of course!! Track 3 is the stand out one for me, track 1 then 2. All good of course! Nice synth @ 2:18 !

FreeRadical replied 8th Jul 2014 - 11 years ago
Cheers. It's just too easy to hit the ten minute mark when you're using loops. Hopefully it's not ten minutes of paperweight (AKA Helmet Mayonaise) I would have like track three to have gone on for longer but i ran out of room so just had to settle for a fade out.
Cheers for listening as always (I see my number one fan is back with eight downloads to her name. What's with that chick? lol)

Nice tracks dude, really clean and clear. what parts are you and what parts are the loops?
FreeRadical
FreeRadical replied 7th Jul 2014 - 11 years ago
It's more loops than it is me, i just added a copule of sawer synths to part one, The bassline in part 2 was my own as was the synth that came in at the end. The last part was all loops. Cheers for dropping in and giving it a listen.

Cool track, like all progressions here... This would be great track for clubs, just let you dancing... Great work anyway!

FreeRadical replied 7th Jul 2014 - 11 years ago
Thanks mate, It's mainly just loops and samples so i won't take too much credit for it. It's more of a mix than a track.
I just added a few synths to what was already there.
Cheers for checking it out.

i like also the lenght of your tracks ...
you get sucked (?) into the tracks ....

greetzz and see ya !

Thanks mate. Ten minutes is about the longest audacity can handle before it starts losing quality so i like to do slots of roughly three minutes per track. This one over ran a bit at the beggining so i had to cut the end a bit short.
Thanks for dropping in and leaving your thoughts.

Mix sounds super duper! Great transition between the first two parts. Some old school sounding laser effects. Vocal samples are cool, that last vocal bit was different. Some good music dude, you have been on a roll lately.

Thanks. I generally prefer more rhytmical stuff as opposed to great melodies. It's what gets me going on the dancefloor so i just try to recreate the vibe of stuff i like.
I'm glad you could stop by and check it out.

Hey friend

Very nice deep house, excellent beat, really liking the vocals in this piece, adds something for sure, very nice arrangement mate, this is the type of tunes played in my fav café here in Perth, going what I have heard with this one I think it is prob better then some played there, liking the changes and the synths/pads that come with the changes, keeps it very interesting, Fav'd... surprised this hasn't receive more reviews mate....Peace n Respect...Mosaic...I have put up a progressive house type of track it is the first of the long tracks had featured in forums about size, this is Trilogy One part one 12.04 minutes long uploading part 2 tomorrow...

FreeRadical replied 6th Jul 2014 - 11 years ago
Thanks mate. It's mainly just a bunch of pro loops that i just built around. The trouble is that they sound better than what i make most of the time so it's just far too tempting to use them. I haven't written a full track all year because i've bought so many loops and i feel it's kind of taken something away from my creativity. Ah well, as long as some people like it i guess i shouldn't cre too much. cheers for dropping in and leaving your thoughts.

i was already expecting good deep house vibes from you but that track just killed it. my favourite DH tune so far from here.
i can tell this is good because it reminded me of the first jimpster mix i ever listened to, many many years ago. still remember exactly how that made me feel and i realised what the "deep" in deep house means. it was the first time i was able to enjoy it fully, just "getting it" - and i got ecstatic... :)

excellent work man, feels fantastic

FreeRadical replied 5th Jul 2014 - 11 years ago
Thanks man. Coming from someone who writes tracks as good as the one of yours i heard earlier that really is a compliment. I've not heard of Jimpster so i'll have to go and look that up.

Another awesome track from you! Unfortunately, I didn't feel like listening to the whole track, so I skipped around lol :) is the voice in the beginning yours, or is it sampled?
FreeRadical
FreeRadical replied 25th Jun 2014 - 11 years ago
Don't worry, ten minutes is a bit too long to pay attention to, I sometimes do that as well.
The voice is from a loopmasters pack called "vintage movie samples 2" It's full of great little one liners like that.
Cheers for stopping by and having a listen.

You and staticnomad should battle it out for the longest track, lol. Haven't been around much, glued to the World Cup and haven't recovered completely from giving up that late goal against Portugal.

This is my first track of the day, listened on my headphones and sounded good to me. Each part had it's own distinct feel and personally I liked the groove and feel of the second half of the song, I guess it would be the middle part. I thought the steel percussion around 6:30 was a good choice. The parts seem to match up nicely and went well with my coffee.

Good luck with the move!

FreeRadical replied 25th Jun 2014 - 11 years ago
I wondered why it had been a bit quiet round here of late but of course the world cup is on. Thankfully i'm not a football (or soccer as you call it) fan or i'd probably be crying like 90% of the country is at the moment because our team was laughably shit. I prefer tennis myself so i shall be tuning into that.
Anyway, glad you could find a moment to stop by and i'm liking the new avatar as well.
Cheers again wayne.

Wow nine minutes huh? I only have one track that long, which is also a breakbeat, dnb type of track. I guess you have to make it that long sometimes to compensate for the faster bpm. Or you just want it that long, which is fine. More music is always a good thing in skilled execution. I'm five minutes in right now, very smooth transitions. Natural progressions make it sound like a couple different songs almost. Curious, do you listen to a bit of Goldie at all? He probably has some of the longest tracks I've ever heard, his longest being literally an HOUR LONG. Entitled "Mother" and his Inner City Life track is pretty classic topping 20 something plus minutes i think. Perfect for DJ's though huh, that's alot of material to work with that they can chop up in a club or event. And the 3 min mark kind of reminds of Elite Force from this soundtrack

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYqIfj12CiU

The synth sounds pretty similar, I'm into alot of soundtracks. There are alot of underrated gems in many games, movie and any soundtrack really. Alot of people miss them i think though due to more mainstream artists and commercial releases. Anyways, intelligent production FR. Be seeing ya around. peace

Yeah, i've run out of slots so now i just try and cram as much tunage as possible into the allocated space. I figure we have about ten minutes before you have to start lowering the quality so i might as well fill it up. Besides it's fun blending tracks together.
I do like Goldie but haven't listened to him for a while but i also made a track an hour long for fun once but it probably wasn't as good as his.
I love that game as well and it's soundtrack so i probably do get influenced by stuff like that.
Anyway, cheers for dropping in and leaving your thoughts. It's much appreciated.

Yes, dark and a little gothic! I'm glad I listened, as I don't always jump for cinematic tracks. But this is potent! Gives me memories of Kate Bush when she was courting electronic and industrial styles, and that can't be bad. Okay I'm feeling it now... Think I'll fave this one. Thanks for the cool listen!

Thanks, I'm just into the idea of doing little mixes at the moment because A, i'm not giving away full tracks and B, i've run out of track space on my profile so i might as well try and squeeze in as much tunage as possible.
