I can't speak to your "wah wah" technique, but I do know you've rocked this tune out!! I love it, and I respectfully disagree with CNIC....this is definitely ROCK. Well done!

Very smooth tune! Sound like "classical" rock i think. Zero "agressivity", pure rock. I can listen to songs like this for long periods of time. Really worth a good vocal i think. GJ!

you`re reminding me of that old rock feeling Topvega....if it aint rock it aint music...my tastes may have mellowed a lot but the straight up rock & roll done guitar band style always rings the bell for good times...good stuff..not intended as a criticism (I enjoyed the listen big time) but if you backed off the hard limiting a bit (or used a softer knee) I think the lead guitar dynamics might pop a little more....keep on man....Ed

Taking me back to my youth! Just the kind of thing I loved to rock out to. It would be a perfect road trip song LOL just add a few vocals to sing along at the top of your lungs cruising down the road.

Loved. I really like your style.
This song reminded me a bit of the cure late 90s albums.
I could almost envision Robert Smith singing on it, but with his "deep tone" voice (something like "club america").

Thanks Danke...not sure what you mean by cutting? I usually record my takes and then if there are spots that need cleaning up I will punch in where needed. After I get my takes to where I like them I will start EQ'ing each track. Fine tuning tone and smoothing out any conflicting frequencies.

This is pretty jammin my friend! It does remind of if the Doors had a second guitarist or something. The drums have a pretty vintage sound to them which is nice! Before you add to the kit, remember that old blues and blues rock groups often had pretty minimal drum kits. That said, adding some more drums could give a more updated sound. I really enjoyed listening! Faved for sure!

Hey bro...thanks for the idea. I had not thought of this in a Doors kind of way but now that you say it I can kinda hear a Morrison type thing going on over this. I will have to take some time, when I get some, lol, and see what I can come up with. I am a big Doors fan. I agree with you on not getting to fancy with the Drums. It's one of the things I love about the Black Keys. They keep their sound very minimal. Especially the drums.

Hi TV,
Good to see one of your tunes here...
I have to second what the others said: your production has improved. You still manage to keep that "live-played" feeling that I appreciate so much in your work, but this song is more polished.
Adding voice to this is not "strictly needed" as it works well also without, but I have to admit that I would be really curious to see what can come out of this with the right vocal track on it :-)

Thanks Domenico, I have tried hard to get better at the production part of recording. I must admit that on occasion I find it some what more interesting than the actual playing of the instruments themselves. You really get to shape the sound and it gives you a lot of creative room to bring the song to life. I was going to leave it without a vocal but Spivkurl has given me an idea to take it in a Doorish vibe. Might sit down and try and workout something in a Mr Mojo Risin vain.

Thanks SP...yeah I have struggled to escape that "live" label but I guess I need to just embrace it and go with it. :) I hope to someday have vocals for this. Whether that means I have to sit down with some good herb and brainstorm or if someone who can actually sing decides to do me a favor. :D

That guitar is awesome. I like the changeup at 1:05. That was sweet. I dont really see too much of an issue with the drums, I kind of like it.

Thanks bro...I like JamStix for the fact that it really gives the sound of a real drummer..for good or bad in some cases. :)
The "change" at 105ish is Toadies inspired. Another band I absolutely love. I would recommend their album Rubberneck to everyone.I appreciate you stopping in and giving it a listen and leaving some feedback. I feel like this is definitely my best track so far. It's nice to know others like it as well.
