Powerful stuff right here! Your guitar/bass playing is very professional sounding. I'd be shocked if it's not the case. There is a quality difference with your guitar/bass and your drums. I'm sure your guitar and bass was played live, and is not synthetic. Your drums may be, however that is fine. Might I recommend using a specific reverb setting on whatever program you use. Preferably something such as "Big Room" where the drums can have that more realistic sound, as oppose to it sounding...not robotic persay, but to clean. And there's nothing wrong with getting a little dirty. ;)
Nevertheless, I absolutely enjoyed this! Faved! Take care, and keep this up!
Thanks Ookami, yeah I agree the drums need better treatment to sound "live" and fit in more. Will have to work on my drum production skills. Appreciate you taking the time to listen and leave a comment.
Gritty, Dirty, Driven and just down-home-style rock.. loved it. Awesome groove. as I listen to this my head is shaking up and down to this beat. It needs a Chris Cornell like vocal to complete this.
great work
Cru
Lol...thanks and yeah I try to be friendly. UPS management does put us under enormous pressure for performance. He might have been having a bad day. Thanks for listening.
Excellent! Where were you hiding this one? :D If you want another drum kit to play with, this one's free and pretty good. I've been using it lately, little simpler than addictive drums. I do like Add. Drums though :D https://www.looperman.com/free-music-software/detail/manda-audio-mt-power-drum-kit-2 So what;'s through the clearing? safety from.... 3:D
Thanks for the link, I will check it out. This was just one of my older tracks that I decided to Feature. I like to go through my tracks and Feature different ones from time to time. As to what's through the clearing...I hope peace and an over all feeling of well being.
This track escaped me somehow, but I'm so much more pleased
that I discovered it just now so I have something really cool to listen, particulary cause your style of doing rock numbers suits me 100%...Big well done again (even if i twas more than 2 years ago^^)!
Thanks Orlando, this is the kind of Rock I really like doing. Trippy guitars and a psychedelic Rock vibe. I appreciate you giving it a listen and leaving some feed back.
hi, very raw guitar blues improvisation along the track... it is absolutely fascinating listening to you playing eventhough you're only using some simple repeating backing track... great jamming and lots of interesting blues riffs just to enjoy and to listen to...
really nice work.
Alex
Thanks Alex....yes I laid down the rhythm tracks first and then went back and just jammed to it. The lead was done in one take. Glad you dug it and I appreciate the kind words.
Great comp here Vega. Sounding pro with the guitar playing, drums have a nice light mix to them. But that makes them alot more enjoyable. At least for me, clean mix too. Jamming, reminds me of the tunes we had playing on my intern a while back. Nice one man, peace
Thanks for taking the time to give it a listen and comment bro. Always appreciative of the support. This really was pretty much a jam. I remember I had just smoked a big fat bowl of some Kush and I was feeling pretty good. The whole lead was done in one take after the bowl. Your kind words of support mean a lot. Thanks again.
Thanks Evan, I do love my Guitar Effects. :) I am just always looking for a tone that stands out a bit. The Guitar effects I use on this is the same as all my other Psychedelic flavored tracks. I would be happy with A Singer, a female soul singer would be awesome. Thanks for leaving some feedback and for taking the time to give it a listen.
Psychedelic, digging that guitar. Real warm and crisp mix, easy on the ears. Nice one to just sit back to, really great track here topvega. Keep em coming bro, peace
Smooth mellow production. Loving the groove here, has a out of space feeling with the light strings/pad in the background. Jamming so far man, great work. peace
Lol...well that's a complaint I can handle. :)
I really appreciate the positive words my friend. Always nice to hear you did something right. Now if I could only learn how to sing a write vocal melodies.
Thanks for taking the time to give it a listen and for leaving some feedback.
Ah yea got some pretty nice rock vibes going on in this one. Kind of psychedelic, which is always a good thing. And is there a bit of flange/phase on a guitar? That must be one of the reasons this is sounding psychedelic. Great job here vega, peace
Thanks, I would have to find the Original and look but yes the guitars are heavily distorted with a couple effects. I almost always use Guitar Rig 5. I am a big fan of tone and texture. Love the whole psychedelic vibe. Thanks again for taking the time to listen and leave a comment.
So would I...lol. I can play drums a bit but don't have the room for my drum set. I have it stored in the attic. Maybe someday i will have the space to set them up and do it right.
I've been a fan of rock and metal since the 70's. (because I wasn't alive before then) And, when I say rock and metal, I mean everything from the Beatles to Cannibal Corpse, and Rush to Ministry.
With that being said, I have to agree with Danke. I don't really hear the Static-x, even in the drums, other than they are programmed like a lot of theirs are. I definitely hear it from more along the lines of where Crucethus is coming from.
This bad boy is straight up Rock! Drums aside,(even then, you could pretty much leave it, if it were on an acoustic set.), if you dropped this bad boy in the mix with Foghat, Mountain, and maybe a little Montrose, it would fit right in, brother.
As far as vocals go, nah. Too many people rely on vocals to make a tune. I think letting the music speak for its self is voice enough. If the music is good, it doesn't need someone warbling over the top of it.
Overall, man, this is a rockin' tune. It's right where it needs to be as far as genres go. Awesome work!
Thanks V. I think I had Wayne Static in my head while I was working on this so I just related it to Static X. Most of the time I hear a vocal style while working on something. Neil Fallon, Josh Homme, lately it has been Jay Buchanan from Rival Sons. Thanks for the kind words and for letting me know not having vocals does mean you don't have a solid track.
Appreciate you taking the time to listen and leave some feedback.
Very cool hard rock/metal track...you did very well mixing the instruments and i like when the solo guitar enters with that melody supporting the rhythm guitar.... but i think the track should be a little shorter.... that's just my opinion.... keep it metal, man \m/ respect
You are no doubt right...Honestly it is this long because I was having a good time laying down the rhythm track and just messing with different ideas. I then went in and put the lead guitar. I really does need to be picked apart and shortened. Thanks for the input, it is appreciated for sure. Glad you enjoyed the track.
Yo. Powerfull. Nice guitar sound. Levels are ok, in my ears.
Like mostly, when i hear instrumentals, i miss voices. Or let´s say better - Wow, there is much room for a singer. (i mean that in a positiv way).
Thanks Joe. Yeah I feel there are rarely true "Rock" tracks that would be worse off with good vocals. Unfortunately I can't sing. :) So I try and use instruments to sing for me.
I appreciate you taking the time to listen and leave a comment it is always nice to get feed back.
I'm so impressed by the talent on here! This is awesome! I'm new to looperman. Check out my song "Jonestown massacre", I wrote/performed/produced it. Beat created by loops on HERE! Your feedback would be greatly appreciate ... then if you REALLY like it you can collaborate with me in the future? lmk
Thanks Richie. Yeah I think this is one of the better tracks drum wise from me. I think alternating between the slow and fast pace drum patterns helped as well. Thanks for giving it a listen and for commenting.

Playing on them skinny stings quite a bit. High tinkling is pretty nice (shrill when I do it).
You need a female soul singer. That's it, you've got the rest.

Solid riffage, tasty modulation though deep, triplets are nice touches.
Every solo part makes me quite jealous. Tones are great.
