Thanks Rita, when I'm away from home and I have some spare time (as I was with this one) and I don't have the recording equipment it gets tempting to go back to some old ones and tinker and try to improve etc. Cheers Chris

Hi Michael. Thanks a lot. I didn't realize this was already showing in featured tracks. I hadn't had time to listen or comment to others and I'm about to go bush again for a couple of days. Weston63 did a great remix of it. He's got some very cool stuff on here.

Glad you enjoyed it. I recently spent a month down on one of NZ's subantarctic islands which was a real privilege but I think the isolation and drama of that landscape and human history got to me and came out subconsciously with this one.

Hi there, gosh it's nice to get a comment out of the blue like this on an old track, thanks. I remember distinctly recording it as it was late night/early morning, both front doors were wide open and the full moon was shining in. There wasn't much forethought but yes, I was pleased with the vibe, and I still like the track myself so that's good! Cheers mate.

what a journey, i dance hula hula with my tuba. there is some serious warrior-desert-santa-island vibes on guitar. really nice 3d soundscape. this is really something to listen on headphones with a preamp. those detail and compression you play that game hard zootman, congrats on that. i will take my notebook and learn something. greetings from a banana

Hey Chris, I'm getting to this one kinda late but well done sir! Genuinely, I think your tracks are some of the best produced on this site. That's no dishonour to anyone else of course. But every instrument voice is so pristine and well balanced, and there are so many transients moving through the stereo space that it kept my ears perked the whole time. Respect.

Hi Cam, really appreciate your comments thanks. I played the lead guitar with my fingernail, no pick. I was surprised how much it changed the tone. Gave it this sharp attack then a soft finish with some harmonics in places. Anyway, that's by the by. Cheers man, Chris.

From the first note this brought out my natural rhythm, ooooh such a sweet! jam right here. The percussions are AMAZING! throughout & with the spoken word well, that just tops it all off. NICEEE! Work here. This is a real piece of musical art. Bravo!
