to basics and played all the instruments myself

titles aren't my strong point. In fact
If it were not for LM's strict 5 character
rule for titles I would just use numbers.

I know that my track has arrived on LM after I get
a comment from you. You have no idea how much I look
forward to your comments.
I'm not just blowing smoke. You've been there for my good
and bad tracks.
I have a tendency to come and go but I've always tried to return the favor and be an honest ear for your tracks as well.

What's up Cam,

I think we both have a tendency to go on hiatus
from time to time. Life happens.

I think I either over or under think titles. I don't
have the poetic gift for titles.

Recently I have been stressing over the "Media Medium" a
listener might use when listening to my tracks. I wonder if they are car, monitor, headphone or cellphone listeners.
I use all of the above, sometimes it's a nightmare but...

I like my sound to be wide with Vocals left and right sometimes if I'm in a mood Female left Male right. Bass and Keys dead center unless the Rhodes is just an accompaniment.
Cymbals left and right Kick center Snare slight left.
Then I just insert notes and rhythm voila.

So far so good I hope things have been going well for you up in the Great North.

It's been a while so I felt
I needed to get back to basics
and go oldschool.
When I first started using DAW's
I used to play all the instruments
all the time. Now that I have probably
close to a MIllion samples I have been working
on learning the nuances of digital music production.
But every now and then I just want to play.

Bass pattern from our boy
Big Ant back in the 80's I
bet he would be surprised to
hear that I still remember it.
BTW. I "stacked" the Kick and HH
on this one. I'm starting to get the
hang and ear for knowing the different
instruments on the Drums. I really appreciate
the tips you've given me with the Drums.

What's up down-under Zootman.

I am beginning to find some of my old stuff
that had decent content but, back then I wasn't
as knowledgeable about the presentation or some of
the other utilities and what-not that can make an old
track sound very different than it did back then. I guess
since I'm still learning more stuff about music production
almost everyday I'll probably say the same thing about this
version two years from now.

Your listen and Fave are a huge encouragement as well as a
indicator that I'm moving forward. I really appreciate it.
