Thanks so much friend! I'm glad you could enjoy it even though it's not quite in line with the original! I always appreciate your listens and comments!
Hey Mark, thanks for the listen and comment! I'm surprised to hear your recommendation, as this has even more effects than I usually use on vocals! I can see what you mean though, it would add to the strangeness of the song! Thanks much!
Me, I do not dream .... but there are here yet, your originality, your musical personality, no doubt .... It is not always easy to orchestrate a well-known base, but here you have your very successful challenge.
It is not the flowers that I launch to you (French expression) I really think .... Do not change your way to make.
It's a pleasure to read your comments, as ever! I like your french expression much, and my wife and I had a good drunken laugh trying to figure out what it actually means yesterday! But thank you so much for listening and faving this song!
is that you singing Patrick? I'm sold on it. As far as your sounds - it is all fascinating to me and IMHO superbly produced. the effect of the track for me is like intelligent ravings of a well-focused madman.
Yep, that's me! I think I'm getting a little better at vocals recently, even though I heavily effect them. It's definitely a strange REM song. I'm for sure a madman too, glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for stopping by to listen! I guess I kind of like the vocals at this level, they're the most important part of the mix. I appreciate your comment!
I had to listen to the intro twice it was soo weird but in a very interesting way that grabbed me right way i loved this joint from start to finish FAVED....great work i couldnt say nothing bad at all about it.
Hey thanks so much! That theremin sound in the beginning scared my wife a lot when she heard this last night... haha! I really appreciate your support, and the fave!
You have yet to disappoint, Mr. Spivkurl. You definitely have a sound that's all yours, and you own it. Upfront it seems like such a simple, almost fumbly style. But, once you start to listen to what's really happening, it's very intricate and involved. I've always said that if you're going to do a cover, make it your own. Otherwise, you're just imitating. You definitely made it your own, and it's a better song for it. Awesome work, man.
Thanks so much V for your viewpoint! I think fumbly is a good adjective for my style! It was a very fun project to cover this song, so I'm glad you think it turned out okay! I really appreciate you listening and leaving a comment!
I've been an REM fan since the ep with Gardening at Night and 1,000,000, think it's called Chronic Town. I thought the Monster album was kinda dark and something different from those guys. I really like the cover. It has elements from the original but you added so much of the Spivkurl touch that it really takes on a life of it's own. Excellent job Spiv, the vocals were very cool and out front in the mix, great job!
Hey Wayne, thanks for joining me for the listen! I've been into REM for a long time too, they're sort of underrated. I agree that Monster is pretty dark. I thought it was really cool to find out that each song's vocals were done with a different microphone on that album. I'm glad you don't mind the out front vocals, I used a pretty long chain of effects to give them that edge. Thanks so much for DL'ing and the fave, I appreciate the listen!
Hey thanks buddy! I'm glad you enjoyed it enough to DL! Monster is my favourite REM album, and it was very fun to put a twist on this already good song. I appreciate your words and fave!
To say the least a very interesting track, you have such an unique style and it's kinda hard to judge about your tracks most of the time since they differ so much from other tracks . I liked this one and I think you did great with the vocals and the beat itself, keep going like this ;)
It's good to hear from you on this one! It's one of those songs that I'm fearful of showing to people, but at the same time I really needed someone to hear it. I take it as a compliment that you say my track differ from others. Thanks for the listen my friend!
Special cover, caracteristic Spiv cover...Honestly, this is the first vocalish song where I really like your voice...
Outstanding electro track...
All the best, Danke
Hey Danke, thanks so much for taking a listen! My is not for everyone, that's for sure, so it means a lot to me that you felt this one was better! I appreciate the fave and the comment!
I do not really know what I can write. No music I listen to every day. The "Industrial Factor" think I hear. Sounds massive and powerful for me. Find the votes well incorporated, fit well. For me no light diet, but definitely interesting. :)
first I should say what an intersting name for your nextAlbum Patrick.so cool!regarding this new track, after adoring your innovative & special insight and sending U soem ''!" mark for hearing vocal in your track(and what a cool) I should say I really enjoyed & wondered how U think that your musiX sounds in this way man ! very well done , Patrick I think U can compose so good for cinematic and specially cartoon musiX too ...in the end I wanted to hold and caress that bug ( if we can call that sound!hahaha,so cool and unique) in this track.Patrick unfortunately yesterday and today looperman don't work for me about fav mark and however I push that button nothing happens, but add in your mind a fav from myside to this please.best wishes.____Behnam
Hey thanks Benham! I realized a little too late the my title included the most common misspelling of labyrinth, but I guess I like it that way. I would like to make music for movies and animations for sure, but I'll settle for being the soundtrack to people's fall from grace. Thank you for the intention to fave the song! I appreciate your listen my friend!
Haha I have to agree with Static!! Wow, what a trip man. Insane robotic musical metal grinding digital mayhem. Not a big fan of this genre but not because its not good but because I am old and loud unexpected sounds scare me. Great production. You crazy man~!
Those effects on the vox are very cool and creative. You are quite an original my friend! This is one of the more original tracks I've heard, excellent job my friend!
I respect you so much especially because you listen to things that are way different from what you create, I mean that in the best of ways! I'm very happy to receive one fave from you! It was fun to effect the vocals on this song, so I'm glad you enjoyed it! Take care my friend!
Thanks so much for listening! Your reviews are always entertaining to read! Drugs are so last week... ha ha... What happened last week anyway? Circuit bent electro punk is a very nice genre, I like that! I appreciate the review!
Ha ha! I'm just happy to have gotten a listen and response from you! It's definitely one of the strangest songs on my new album, so I thought I'd punish my friends at Looperman with it! Thanks for stopping by!
Alot of stuff happening with this track. I like it. It's like a futuristic robotic orgasm happening throughout the track. Not sure if that's even appropriate for Looperman, but nevertheless; I liked this crazy intense track.
Wow futuristic robotic orgasm! That just leaves me speechless! It sounds to me like I did something right... even if it is inappropriate! Thanks for listening friend!
Hey thanks NV! I think I've been smoking to much ganja lately, and it's starting to show in my music. But I can't complain if it helped me write this song. I really appreciate you listening!
Good work my friend, this borders on Digital Hardcore. Bass line is driving, the vocals are placed perfectly and are disturbing in the right way ;)
Steve
Hey Cruce, good to hear from you! Digital hardcore, I like that! This one is weird because I used an effect as an instrument, which just kind of fell into place. Thanks for the compliment on the vocals! I appreciate you listening!

This is definitely different.
Well produced but I think the vocals could use some modulation to give it a psychedelic effect.

...disturbing... yes...
but I enjoyed it a lot!
And actually, I was expecting something weirder, this song has its melodic moments :-)
Thanks for sharing your talent with us Spiv!

Spivkurl - you're officially an electro madman. A circuit bent nutter. A crazy squelchbleeper.
This is mad, weird sort of circuit bent electro punk.
Robotic orgasm is also quite an accurate description for it.
Good stuff for crazy drug-filled parties. You can definitely dance to it as there's some groove in there, despite all the weirdness.
It's not my kind of thing but I appreciate it. Especially as I can hear the twisted mind behind it enjoying doing it for the sake of it.
