I like it...great way of building a scene with music and words alone. I would have liked a possible reverb effect on the vocals a bit maybe, but otherwise, its wicked yo. Great job

I find true pleasure and amusement in being silly very often. I drive a truck for a company that heat treats metal parts. I go in load up then drive around all day making a couple of stops. I carry a couple of harmonicas and my imagination with me. I do a pretty good job of amusing myself. I don't even listen to the radio that often. I'm glad you liked it.

i heard the original 4 gray walls pella not so long ago, and the first second i heard the voice i was like 'sickkkk' love the voice and tone of it, awesome chill music.

i have this picture in my head of a guy, in a car, window down, with his elbow leaning on the window, bopping his head and singing the tune. HAHAHHA

sweet vibes mate!

PS: just curious where you got that intro sample from, of the guy getting into the car. because i heard something quite similar on a Stanton warriors tune, a bit different, but similar! both gives the tune a great mood :)

loooov the depressiv kinda mood you created from beginning with the luvly guitar chords... maybe make that voice a bit louder so I can hear it better besides that easy goin man I'm sure you know how to get a girl hoooked with only your voice and a guitar =D badboy!

My wife has to listen to me play songs over and over again till I basically have it memorized and can play it without thinking. I think that sometimes she just doesn't realize what a genius I am. LOL. Thanks for listening.

Hi Blair,
Nice sounding harmonica work. Your voice is decent too.
I think it would be nice if you could make a song with guitar, bass and a little drums. That would fill out the sound a whole lot.

Did you get around to doing any Harmonica work on my Voodoo Swamp song? That as I mentioned was in the key of 'C'.
I'll be doing a county song next with 'Banjo'. I see you don't like Banjo, but there won't be much in it. :-)

My fingers are slowing down. It will be half old country and Cajun with twin fiddles. Since your from Georgia, maybe you like Cajun music? I mean Louisiana is 'nearby'.

Back to your song here. Nice work, you play well on the harmonica.

Thanks. i actually practice the harmonica more than the guitar. I whine about not being as good as some of you guys. But I must not really want it because I don't even practice everyweek much less every day. But the harmonica. I can cary that around. And since I'm on the road driving most of the day. Hours to play. I've even started using it to write songs. Have just written 2 songs for someone here. He will do the music I'll do the lyrics. Got 2 christmass songs going too. So I haven't played around with Voodo yet. Honestly I forgot. But you reminde me. And that sound is to cool to not put some harp to. I actually like the banjo a lot. Just like that joke too.

Nice.
Very nice.
This is a great idea with a beautiful spirit.
I love the progression and the melody is comforting.
As I do artist development, I imagine this piece being played by an ensemble. Bo Diddley toms driving the rhythm. Not overbearing mind you, just chugging away in a support role. This song lends itself to so many ideas like that. I give you bonus points for documenting and sharing. Nice song....very nice.

Thanks for the kind words. I was playing this last week at a place where I do a 2 hour set every other week. A friend was playing lead for me and his first time hearing it he did a Allman Bro.s style lead to it that matched it perfectly. Had someone doing OK but not great drums. And someone else laying down a nice bass line. It's one of my favorite songs.

you ain't kiddin' sax tastic. I'm impressed, I know all your stuff is top notch but this in 3 hours with loops. I love to use sax loops but I find it hard to link them and chop em to make it sound fluent - you mastered it here. This is a great track...no amazing track - I love any kind of jazz tinkering, and the orchestral back is very cool. Kudo's Blair!!!!. peace.

Thanks. Ok. Tips on harmonica. Get one in the key of C. I like the Hohner Special 20 marine band. And Lee Oskar harps. Hohner special 20 cost me 25 dollars US. Lee Oskar about 35. Both sound great. Get a book. Learn straight harp. When you're a little comfterable with that learn cross harp.
Straight harp C plays key of C. Cross harp C plays G. Cross harp has more inhale note than exhale notes. Can put more blues soul in cross harp. Play, play, play. Don't worry about bending notes. Learn where notes are Bending will come with time. You can learn to play it fast. Any other questions. Contact me.

Blair had the violinello.
Slap had the sax.

Picked up this martini and this sly fox named Karina, she was from Germany, but I have already forgotten her face.

As we were leaving the club.. The sirens came from the front door, and the 5-O rushed in.

Guns Blazzing.

Hell raising in the 57 club.

I slept my last night. Lie-ing with a crazy Russian bird called Katrina...
and an empty martini.

Neither young ladies had any idea.

lol... sorry, i like to write while i listen.

Hi Blair,
Nice song you have here. Haven't listened to any of your songs in awhile. The rhythm you have in this song sounds like a 'Bo Diddley' style...which just happens to be in my next song I am almost finished with.
Anyway, good song as I said. I'll have to listen to more of your nice tunes.

But this struck a chord for one reason or another. Reading others comments and thinking about things, it just kind of makes me think back to when I was younger, and how it didn't seem so damn complicated. Need some of that rain to come around and get a good soul cleansing, know what I mean?

Damn, now I just want to go ride my bike and run around in the woods or build a fort or something.

Excellent song man.
