Very nice intro buidup, I definatly like the drums overall on this one, the guitar riff is pretty good too like a funky slipknot riff having a epileptic seizure! Kudos on the use of silence/dropouts alot of people overlook that technique or cant do it very tastefully.
Kooky indeed KookDaLoop! I admire kookyness in most everything especially music, good job on this one dood!
Thanks for picking up on the drop outs, they can be tricky, but when they work it's so nice. Thanks for the review, I'll head on over to your stuff soon. peace!
i've been digggin' on some looperville tonight.its been a while. this one really stands out. love the bass on the 16ths. like the metel influence. I think this one is "electro-metel-core" you've created a new genre!
neil
I understand that this is quite old, and I didn't see any recent projects...
but
I do have to say, dude... whatever the hell it is you do, in life, always occasionally make some music, but you got some real talent at arranging..
I think it was Eshar that first told me you only mixed with loops.
My jaw freaking dropped lol.
You create better soundscapes than I do with all my musical power/powerlessness lol
anyway
This song was about the package..
Someone got caught, and now the package, with the cure, is just there, and the battle ensues, while it's just lost. And it's right there. Right there in front of everyone's faces.
Shrug.
Dude, I would love for you to arrange a song with me.
I make up crazy sounds, and you arrange em lol
Thanks for the review man...and I totally hear what your saying, that's one thing that always has hindered me with my tracks, not being able to play an instrument forces me to make tracks with the loops I can find...haha. I value your comments, and you're a cool cat in my book - you're a long time looper I have always had mucho respect for (musically and your views)... I've been pretty busy lately but would love to colab in the future man!
Usually, when I click on a track labeled "Metal", it's sounds as if the drums came from a store in a can, but this is a refreshing change..It sounds like a BAND, not a dude..
WOW KDL, this track is super tight, super chilled!! Where did you get the organ loops from? I really enjoyed this from start to finish. Had to dl & fav for sure, excellent track man!! D
Thanks for checking it out Dennel. The loops are Sony loops I believe, from one of their loop discs, on second thought I think they might be some loops that were on my mac... however I do know sony has a full disc of organ loops, looks pretty cool, I just haven't had the $$ to pick it up. lol. peace.
Hi kook, I could imagine this one being used in a game or film.. It's got a great pulse! Your production is top as is the arrangement.. Good to have you back amongst us...
That show a couple of times and someplace I saw the movie on TV. So I went out and got it. It's pretty cool if ya haven't seen it. This track immediately takes me to that scene in the movie where they are flying through Reaver space. Can't decide whether they are going to or leaving Miranda, but just the picture of Serenity flying past all of those mangled space crafts won't leave my mind. Wait, no, I see that other scene where the crew is nervously waiting on their ship while the other scans them on the way to the planet. Pretty creepy place to be, stuck on a floating can surrounded my the vacuum of space and insane cannibals (with laser cannons). I wouldn't wanna be there, no sir!
I'm lovin the drums, even though they kinda have a different vibe to 'em that's makin me think of the big space battle near the end. Where the agent says- "He's not even changing course...". Great job at capturing the essence of those baddies. Later on!

I like this track a lot so it's downloaded and fav'd. I get the impression you have so many ideas and styles we have yet to hear. bring 'em on!! great track.
So many images are coming to mind when I hear this track. Do you do this pro, or is this just a hobby for you? In any case like I said so many images are coming to mind when I hear this that it's screaming to me to be paired with some visuals, would you mind if I used this track in a video promo? Of course full props will be given to you in the credits. Hit me back via email at xanax48@yahoo.com and I can keep you posted should you say yes.
Many thanks for the kind words. I'm glad you like it and even more stoked that you saw so much imagery while listening to it. Very cool. Thanks for checking it out. Oh and I sent you an email as well. Have a good one!
what a ride!!!
it's amazing what you can do with that loops, I'm really honoured to be included here!!
so much drive in this track ... brilliant arrangement, it takes you on a journey, and it's indeed something like a chase ...
thank you man, fantastic work!!
peace, rei
(and btw: I did myself a track with some of the "yellow-loops", it's called "Breathless" ... by far not so complex as your track, but I like it ...)
But when I saw this I was immediately reminded of the band of the same name. They're on Myspace if ya wanna check 'em out (I highly recommend their track, Serious Chemistry).
Anywho, this has elements of Industrial and Experimental Electro. There are like 4 bands I am reminded of- KMFDM, The Crystal Method, Juno Reactor, Trip Theory. Very cool composition man. Lates!
Thanks Donnie, I always appreciate your reviews, chalked full of stuff I never knew...hehe. But to compare this track to some of those amazing Bands is flattering, mucho thanks man! peace.
Haha, I totally see the Matrix thing the other person commented about. Genre-wise, umm, can't really say either, but I think there's a style this fits into. I don't normally hear it alot, but I'm reminded also of the stuff that was played in the score to The Fast and The Furious by Brian Tylor. Pure craziness mate. Lates!
A lot of movement going on in this track, and I love that! I agree that it's breakbeat, but this definitely has some glitch flavour to it, especially at the beginning. I'm obviously a sucker for glitch. Man, I love what you did with the beats around 4:20 or so, it's like tribal or something. Very exciting!
Nice one. Definitely has a feel of a cutting edge soundtrack. Reminds me of some of the work on the movie "Kontrol", of Hungarian origin if I remember correctly.

Agree with goosemeyer, but, I know, as I have heard your tracks on and off over a year or soo, and they are always just consistently great.
Great knack for arrangement, and production.
This is definitely a showcase of that... but I do want to add, woulda shoulda coulda been awesome if you had more guitar loops and one other fill.
Maybe one change. like a bridge, altho, the 2 minute mark was an incredible twist, as was the end.
Freaking awesome.
Downloaded and faved.
gonna listen to another one
