The 70's and 80's were great. Love the keys. And the funky guitar too. Kind of has a Herbie Hancock feel to it. great song. I just watched the video. Loved it. That is just too cool.

Starts off from the first note sounding real cool. Love the heavy reverb. Them a kind of whale sound. Love the drum beat in there too. Gives it a pink floyd "The Wall" kind of feel to me. Fusion seems like the best discription to me since it's a blending of jazz and I don't know what else. Great track.
this is an amazing track......nice beats that track it along without taking over.......weird brass fx are spot on......and a funky change up at around 1.50......excellent work

Do you use a Mac? If so, I just gotta say you did a sick job with those samples. Your ear for putting them together into one coherent piece was on full display here. This is mcnasty filth.
wow thanks man, yeah I'm kinda Mac geek, but kinda need to be for my job - It's surprising how much time I put into searching for loops to fit where and what I want, sometimes it can be a chore...but now and then pays off. Are you working Mac based? if so what program do you use? I find ther aren't a whole lot of Mac based programs - Logic & Reason I think...
But then.. Damn shiz got all funky, and I was fighting crime in a hatchback.
Didn't bother me none, I had my sweet mother mary pistol and fresh perm. Lay the funk aside brother man, I got ya back on this.
So what part of the sequence in the film would this go for? I'm thinkin it'd be cool for some kinda lite romance scene between the hero and heroine. You know the type- typically seen in Anime where they're alone and close to one another. Sometimes in eachothers arms and there's that moment where they realize that they are drawn to one another. Sometimes it ends with a long kiss or a really big sweat drop, haha. Interesting composition that's somewhat Enigma-esque. Lates!
How ctrl-Z on this site will delete the text, but not redo it if ya press on it again. Just something I found out.
Also, funny how ya mentioned liking Juno Reactor on one of your other tracks coz parts of this remind me of the Mortal Kombat soundtracks. Speaking of which, did you know that most of Traci Lords tracks were done by him (if I'm not mistaken). Anywho, this track has alot of energy that'd be good for action packed stuff. Don't really get the name, unless you were making a nod to the old PS1 game N20 (still got that one somewhere around here). Later on!
Liled the track. It's an epic journey into a soundscape that doesn't know time or distance. I especially love the climactic homestretch at the end of the journey. Good Job!
I really liked this track and added it as a favorite! This is something out of like a movie for Parisite Eve. Made me think of "Eve" rising from the sewers in the streets of London and destroying everything in her path. IDK, it's just what came to mind with the opera vocals. kIcKa**
lol. Parasite Eve is good stuff, just popped that in my dvd player couple weeks ago. Thanks for the review and the fav. If I ever get around to cutting a video to this now I know what to use. Thanks again djcliff -cheers!
i like the way you start tracking......taking time and developing the whole thing......again good synth treatments and compact beat structure with good change, cheers PC
Thanks man, I believe I have to thank you many times - this song was one of quite a few I made as a kinda soundtrack project, which I ended up using many of your loops...at least now that I look back and sift through your loop library. You have so many that fit my taste. lol. Props!!!! Just want to say thanks, a late thanks. Thanks for the kind words. peace.
wow, the guitars remind me very much of Clawfinger, the style of the track too ...
listening too it I had little problems to distinguish between verses and chorus, I'm sure that you can work this out a little better ...
but the beat is very very interesting, pretty industrial, and a lot of creative ideas in there ...
good work over all!!!
Thanks Rei, and yeah the chorus does kinda just meld into the rest, this track was definitely a challenge and something to learn from, but I guess that's why I'm here. lol. peace.
The track sounds like something out of Underworld. A great soundtrack for a fight scene. I use Frutiy Loops and I love it! I couldn't get Cakewalk down so I never bought it. I'm guessing that's what you used when you said "Sony". gOoDlOoPs!
I'm still using Soundtrack Pro, which is a program that came with Final Cut pro (for work) - I started playing with SP and the mac loops that came with it, now I look for loops anywhere as long as they are wav. files it all imports in. Sony has a mega load of different loop discs - def check em out - I think it's sonycreativesoftware.com or something. Thanks for the review!
I liked this track and the sort of break beat feel it had. I love when the guitar comes in as well, and it comes in with the beat again. Just makes me want to punch something. :)
lol. punch something...that's exactly what I was feeling when I was putting in the whoosh thumps at certain points...I just wanted to make an very aggressive track. Thanks for the review - I'll hit you us asap. peace.
it´s a good intro and excellent continuing synth sounds.....
i like the whole structure with the groove stops and changing sounds........by the way the words are spoken by Mila (Mr.Robot´s wife) and she speaks Czech
cheers PC
Into third gear whilst cruisin the Boulevards. Kinda like I could see a troupe of folks on their way out for a night of fun. I could see this being the song they were playin on the way to the first club. Cool composition man!
I was reminded a bit of Orbital's style, but as it progressed it took on a life of it's own. Though I could see The Crystal Method doin somethin with this. Throwin in some vocal snippets of an old news report, some DOT talk off of a scanner, or somethin like that.
The Bass is super wicked and I really like the way you've got this set up with periodic breaks n transitions. This one's very dance-worthy. Later on!
I remember when Mr. Robot used this in his track. You did good with the acapella. I like it hows its so suspenseful until about 2:25 then it just jumps into an acid sequence.
Great job!
