Hello Orlando,

somehow I stumbled upon this wonderful piece of music by accident and thoroughly enjoyed it. You truly understood the ambient genre and implemented it brilliantly here. I don't know if you know Lucia Hwong, she was on the "Private" label at the time and your track reminded me of some of her music... but you know what it's like, with comparisons like that... it's probably totally subjective. Crazy that the track even suggests smells to me... small campfire and stuff...

Many Thanks,

Micky

First...sorry for the late reply my friend...I'm so off lately and choosing that kind of a track for upload just reflects that(I think). It's something different and a bit extreme this time...not really my usual stuff, but thank you so much for giving it a listen and for your words of support...always means alot !

Hope all is well,
Leon

Sounds like a death march. Hopefully things aren't yet that hopeless but sometimes I wonder.

I was impressed with this one, Orlando! I could see this being in a movie that takes place in the 17th to 18th century. The beginning has a dark feel to it while the middle feels more mysterious/dramatic. Great work.

Hey Leon, hope all is well!

Dramatic intro, sets the mood. Then it's the calm before the storm and the tension builds up. Operatic piece, emotional, tells a story. Nicely put together.

Always great to hear a new one from you. Be safe!

This is too cool! I'm really liking the part around the 1 minute mark, and the enjoyment just continues from there. I've got to wonder where you get the orchestral inspiration, as I've found that it's not easy to come by. The door slam at the end adds a lot to the cinematic edge of the piece. A slamming piece it is... hee hee.

Orlando51 replied 22nd Feb 2022 - 3 years ago
Thank you so much Spiv for welcoming this slamming piece. In fact I was just toying with some demo version synth (already expired...haha) and it just fell together...so funny.
Many thanks for listening and comment !

Incredibly relaxing and beautiful. I particularly loved the violin, specially the part just before the middle of the song. But the whole thing was a journey.

Wow - masterful in every way - gorgeous stereo sound and every instrument is crystal clear (nothing lofi about this) and its a beautiful evocative track somewhat melancholic but equally lifting / triumphant. Not surprised it has so many plays, fav, downloads and comments. There is a world of amazing music and absorbing listening on LM and this a great example of that

That's a great sound at about 2:37. And again at 3:45, with the delay... nice work.

Also, let me know if you want to make something, some complex chord changes to solo over or the like, if so just message me. TTYL.

Whoa, I usually don't even consider listening to a track longer than 5min. I'm glad I let that go. This is an excellent composition, the drive of the track really keeps you engaged.
This is a beautiful track from beginning to end. Faved.
