Hey DjLunich. Working with you sounds like a fun plan. If you use FL Studios, you can send me the flp file, and that'd make it a hell of a lot easier. I'm glad you liked my work to the point you'd want me to remix one of your tracks. You can email me at GoldenOokami@Outlook.com to discuss this more in detail. Peace!

Hey Ookami

Mate you had me right from the start, love choir in tracks, try to use in my tracks when possible, love the bass when it comes in, personally would have liked to see a little harder kick then what you have here, I think it would work perfectly with the bass line, guessing would give the track a more deep house sound and feel, don't get me wrong still enjoying the listen, prob looking at as if I was doing the track lol...clarity and arrangement sounding great from my speakers here...Nice work matey...Fav...Peace n Respect...Mosaic...

Cool track here. Love the choir intro. Good balance throughout the track. The kick isn't my fave but it serves its purpose. Nice one overall.

Nice patient intro..when an intro runs over a minute I think it needs to cary some musical interest rather that just act as a long lead-in...this one does it very well....its real nice easy listening for a house mix (I dont have an extensive knowledge of the electronic genres..so I tend to just listen from a "Do I like the music" point of view)....good listening here Ookami..I can hear that you put a lot of thought into the compositional structure and it pays off....a big well done to you...keep doing it..I`ll be back to check out a few of your other tracks (notice you cover quite a few genres) when I find a bit of time (its hard to come by for me at present)....Ed

Nice intro but i like it even better when it gets going. That's an ace melody, nice bassline and good choice of pads. Like the way that it builds as it goes along and dig the choice of sounds as well. You've blended this all together really well and there's enough changes going on to keep it interesting.
Great track.

hi,
really nice work overall... but still I encourage you to find some better piano plugin - this could help this main modal progression of notes to correspond better with the bass, upper (and dark lower) strings, and saxophone melodic line in here. I am just suggest you to maybe experiment a bit, rework it and maybe to find some resonance of the piano progression... I mean some proper chords and bassline.
I have an impression that those layers clash sometimes along the track and there is no proper let's say 'proper chord progression' in there.
But still this is only my vision - the song sounds really nice so far and I am enjoying it a lot. Keep it up!

Alright. I'll keep that in mind for next time I work on a track like that. I appreciate it. I'll be on the lookout for some good/better quality pianos. Thanks again!

dope track man. i like your choice in instruments. sweet melodies too man. my only beef is wit the synth string/horns part? it sounds midi. maybe try mess around with attack times to get a more natural sound with it. maybe even try playing in your melodies with a keyboard or controller and not put every note perfectly the beat, that'll give it some real nice human characteristics (even if it is midi). vary velocities too. enough of my 2 cents. Peace

Really nice beat you got going there Monsieur.

It has a nice positive vibe/energy that I like. Nice melody too.

I have some issues with the kick. I think, it needs some calibration, so it sounds right.

I also think, you should just go for your dream instead of this: "I plan to go to college to be a professional music producer/musician."

I don't have any college degree and yet I managed to work for this mainstream radio station in my country as a Radio host: nrj.com and when I don't make music, I work with international business.

You can do, have or be anything you like, if you go for it and is passionate about it. It is all about do what you want and network with likeminded people. If people can use what you have, then they will want you to work with them.

I will suggest you research business mindsets. Read/listen to the book Robert Kiyosaki - Rich dad poor dad. It will be a good start.

And watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A0bkREYS4VY

And this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MMwl_FNYZFc

Those that make it, go for it 100% and keep going, even if they fall several times. Every time you fall, you will get that much stronger.

Very few people dream big and chase their dreams. They play it safe and get nowhere.

I appreciate the comments. And also, I actually do plan to be a music major. I am considering something to the point of a Music Teacher or Music Theory, or something to that degree. I'm also thinking about minoring in science, mostly astronomy. I do appreciate the help and encouragement though. Ive checked out the videos, and it's changed my perspective a lot. Thanks!

Listening again. There might be a few instances, the first one was around the :47 mark. Another one after 1:34, it's the dun dun part that sounds out of key maybe. The same with the :47 mark. Still very good, piano is my favorite instrument so I've grown accustomed to it. Great work, peace

a catchy theme , Punk with a bit of Jazzy taste of
your mentality -as I've had the chance to listen your traX-which is adorable especially for such a young musician ..
Golden Ookami U've a multimodal & multilateral mind & skil of music..so why don't U use other softwares or programs like Sibelius or Reason which are more suitable for writing notes for composing ..?I can underestand it's taken a long time of yours-as U've mentioned-to creat this by FL...& FL is good , I know , buT U can think of being a serious composer who has himself's exclusive sound , notes , harmony & loops & creates exclusive musix without need of FL patterns &...
absolutely U know better about what U want to do , I do know , but I think U too underestand that I've just tried to be a comment who makes U think more serious about your tallents , ability of playing various instruments & ....
best wishes .___Behnam

GoldenOokami....I think you are well on your way towards your musical goals...and I much admire the fact that you have been investing in the musical knowledge as well as the production skills part....It will stand by you well in the long term and it will give you a very big step up on those who would try to claim the role of producer based on a narrower view of what it really takes....well done on this one....keep on....Ed

I thought the piano sounded pretty great, especially at the more complicated parts. That Pentatonix track is pretty creative too. I saw it a while ago. Back with the piano, so far I've only heard one small part a lil off in key. But otherwise after that small part the piano was played very well. Nice work man, peace
