Description : hey guys. Here is the latest track from my group SoloCult called BFF. this song is literally the byproduct of a bunch of crazy shit going on in my life right now. Cuzin is in jail for arson, bail a million bucks. and he's mentally disabled so its kinda fucked. Plus he's rich so his mom is trying to go after his cash and I'm the only person in the world that is looking out for his best interest. Well me and my mom and my girl actually. So we dropped this track exactly two weeks after i got the first call from aladdin bail bonds telling me what was up. I am not to happy with the soundcloud release though as it is way over processed in my opinion and is lacking a bottom end. So here is my latest mix and i think if you all agree maybe i will release it on the major streaming services and start a free cuzin campaign. Please let me know.

Also i want to thank the master looper himself 40a for providing this amazing loop https://www.looperman.com/loops/detail/107880/upright-bass-72-by-40a-free-90bpm-hip-hop-strings-loop that helped inspire me to turn this tragic time into something i hope will one day be recognized as beautiful. 40a has the most amazing loops on here in my opinion and I've been wanting to use one of his loops for a public release for so long but never felt like i had a track worthy of that honor. Description : Kind of trap, kind of rap/hip-hop beat. Very happy sounding, in a sense, but has an overtone to it like it could be at time playful (the verse segments), but alludes to some deeper emotions, especially during the chorus melody.

I'm open to a collab, especially if you might want to work within the confines of the chorus(es) I've drafted up for the song, as they go amazingly well with the primary melody.

That is up to you though, especially if you just want to rap over it, in the very least, let me know and maybe if you're not down for the whole track, I can record my own choruses and the first or second verse and you can do the other. Up to you.

Description : Just making some noise for fun.

Description : I found an old recording of me playing guitar on 8-track and decided to use it in a new track. All parts have been recorded using analogue equipment. I've then slowed down, sped up or reversed as I recorded them digitally. Then came the difficult part, attempting to piece it all together in ableton without everything being too out of time (there's no way to make it perfect).
Once I'd EQ'd out some of the loudest hiss, I started applying effects and eventually mastering it all.
What you get as a final product is a simple song executed in a very weird way. I'm quite happy with the disorienting effect. I hope you like it too :)
