Description : Song made in FL Studio 8 with some Refx Nexus congas and bass i tried the old turning the radio station trick in the intro i thought it came out good not too sure on the rules against using gorge carlin in my song. i got the piano loop from Bebop in the funk section.

Description : Time for a Funk tune as I have never tried this genre before. This is a 3 part song. The first part....after the solo lead, is a Bluesy Slide guitar type with wah-wah pedal on silde, and heavy drums.....2nd part is a funky rhythm I made on my Korg......
3rd. part is another funky tune I made with the fastest lead guitar parts made using sample loops.

Description : Liquid funk tune i made in less than 24 hrs...........yes, that's a record for me! Helped along by me staying at home whilst recovering from my 2nd wisdom tooth extraction this morning..................Its my music to heal my pain!Now using Reason 4 rewired into Ableton Live, using separate Reason instruments with midi from Live.........MAN!! that NN-XT advanced sampler rocks..........wicked piano's.........Track constructed of recorded midi, no pre-produced loops at all. All sounds from Reason except for the drum kit.........used Live's drum rack for that. This software combination has to be the best ever in my opinion. Reasons awesome sounds with Live's ease of work flow and editing............just wikid!

Description : Back to looping --with a Funky Bass - Touch of Latin Percussion- Spoonful of Organ and a Pinch of Memphis Horns - came up with little tune! hard to put in the proper Genre cause could be Chill/Dance but I choose Funk because of the Funky Bass at the start! Hope you enjoy!! Filaofsoul

Description : This track just fell into place pretty quick.Started off with something i didn't like all that much & ended up with this. A lot of big horns on this one.
I'm a big fan of five piece horn sections, the Tower of Power got me hooked on that.
The title of the song came from looking at the names of some of the loops & samples.
This isn't a finished song but close.
Hope you enjoy it.

Description : a very negative positive title don't you think? I used all looperman loops again on this one, i mastered it to death, went over it almost a few hundred times on levels and equalization, I've now become very familiar with finalmix 16 band comp mixer. i think this is the most obscure of my tracks, it contains soft ambient guitar melodies, breakbeat drums, beatboxing flute, a beautiful melodic piano, and a funk bass sound. It's a very diverse track so i didn't know what genre so i fut fusion since it may just be true fusion music.

Description : I decided to try another of Grotesk's acapellas for the contest. I think it turned out pretty good, but it is a lot different than the previous one I did. This sound seemed to fit the sentiment and mood of the song more than my normal funk mood, so here it is. Hope you like it. Let me know what you think, good or bad.
