Description : A collaboration with sax man Luke Townsend from Cape Town. Its a track from an album we completed last year called 'The Trip', featuring some beats & samples from local electronic dude Captain Asthma. Has an Eastern Feel with a very warbly bass sound. Was put together using Acid Pro and finished off using CuBase. The bass and horns were live (some looping), the rest is loops. The album was self-released - we did a limited pressing of 200 copies. Description : Ever since I got a hold of addictive drums I've been doing less electronic style tracks. But I think I'm going to be working on some drum and bass here in the near future. This was another experiment with AD when I first got it. The metal riffs are quite old, but I still enjoy them. If anyone wants to put vocals to this, let me know so I can send it to you. as usual i have no idea of the style so its under electronic lol.
o ya and i used a drum rack called sweeny glitched.. so i think the glitchy beat is a loop i got from sweeny that i glitched out then resampled chopped it up into a drum rack.. . then played my mpd24 to make the beat.

Description : I keep putting the genre of most of my stuff as electronic though I consider some of it "experimental", "trip-hop" or I honestly don't know what genre it falls under (any help in that category would be awesome) This is what I would consider a type of experimental trip hop track using some basic drums, a little awkward vocals, some scratch and some surgically altered Mozart - Carmina Burana - O Fortuna. Description : So this is kinda calm with little mystery track. But it have some high peaks as most of my tracks :)
I like to do melodical tracks which can give some imagination activity. This track is of that kind also.

bell is cytrus. Used lots of cytrus. I changed the presets some. 12 cytrus instruments but some are play same time to make it like 1 instrument)
The cool plastic sound that flows through frequency(cut off+ resonanse)(in 2nd part where the drums go off) you wont believe is good old wasp! well 2 wasps with similar parametrs. They play same time, one at right ear second at left - to make good stereo.
Lots of Wasps and wasps XT(mostly for effects I use random for wasp often), few Symsunth.

Few loops from looperman. Hey I forgot who's. I did not read carefully at that time and wasn't know that lopperman is community with possible to post tracks... So if someone recognize his loop tell me!
Also I think the percussion loops is from other loops site. Maybe I found it through http://www.findsounds.com/
Also some drum kits used for make rhythm - hats and rides and tamburine(12 kits dunno where they all go but they go)

Also GTG 44S synth used. it's pretty OK synth, It's a worse than native pro53 but it's free soft.

Ahm, should I say I used to record automion to make some soft flow of some parametrs of synths? Well I did :)
OK. I hope you enjoy this one. It's probably also a chill-out but I put it to electronic cuz it have some certain melodies supposed not to just chill-out but some themed melody.

Description : another time I try my hands on a genre I'm not very familiar with, and I'm not even sure if this is really Techno ... so correct me if I'm wrong .... anyway .... I used drumloops from Sony, Loopcache and a looperman fellow called Yisraelee (thank you!!!), and though the track sounds strictly electronic everything else you hear are guitarloops (believe it or not) run through gates and filters ...... it's a very driving track with a lot of energy ..... so, enjoy the ride!!!! peace, rei .... Description : basically this is a new version of my track "turn it on", at least it's based on it, I cut out the guitar, added some arp melodies, changed the bassline a little bit .... the result is actually a new track that fits better into the electronic genre, so I changed also the name .... have fun with it, peace, rei .... Description : This is the first track I wrote as test to see if I could make a decent electronic/techno track. Wanted this to sound kind of like Prodigy with a little twist and a lot of energy. May be a bit much in terms of tracks, but I like the break in the middle, thought it was a decent switch that still fit. Made this in Sony Acid version something or another. Description : OK it's like the movie Bladerunner on acid. I went totally experimental with this track. It's a cross between Pink Floyd and Kraftwerks. Old School experimental and electronic music stuff.. This track is a bit of an urban musical sound LSD trip in the city.

Once again, I really don't know where to put my music, so I put it here simply because Electronic is what I call all the various trances, houses, electros, happy hardcores, raves, et. al.

I don't know how this one happened. I was fooling around with Acid, and wham, this popped out of nowhere. I suppose some of the best things happen by accident, right? The ending was totally by chance. I slapped some loop down to expand the screen and I didn't clean up the ends like I usually do. It played to the end, and I thought "Hey... that's pretty badass."

Description : Soulfull does Hip Hop... After Listening to some great tracks here on Looperman, I decided to try this genre. I do like hip hop a lot just never got to make any. It does tend to go over the electronic genre at times, but hey, you can't teach an old dog...
The vocal loop is from Modez.

Description : I have lately been having alot of ideas for songs and stuff, the reason it is called pound the beat activate is becaus i have the little roboid ppl saying it sporadically in my piece, I like to add in stuff like that it sounds great. This is an electronic type of song, my next one is going to be trance, but it is a bit harder to do considering you have to have alot of bass techniques and stuff, but I will make sure to put it up there. Reviews will be great, I need to know my performance and whatnot thanks again.

I have posted this instrumental track already, thoughI have smoothed some things out and added to the ending. As well, I have fused in some of my spoken word splices. I need to work on the vocal samples a bit, but I like where it is going.
