All started with a Future Bass Drum with Reverb at 140 BPM. It sound like Dubstep and then all go fast. A very Deep Synth Flute with Reverb as Bass. Hig Synth for the Melody. High Flute with Reverb for other. And High Wobbling Synth with stereo Phaser. Many Crazy Snares and lite Stick Hits as Percussion with Reverb. End a Pad with the same Stereo Phaser effect. Yeah thats it. I work 4 Hours at this Track. Sounds Like Future Bass or Dubstep with a lite Happy EDM touch. Please leave some Feedback. Which genre is this? Whats good , Whats Bad? You know what I mean :D

Description : A psychedelic techno cello epic. It's not really techno as it's only 110 BPM but something like that (eg breakbeat), with lots of banging beats and arpeggiated acid synths, plus a whole load of my layered cello playing techniques. There aren't that many synths used but they do a lot of work and are carefully automated. No guitar. Drums are mostly a lot of drum loops, supported by a few programmed acoustic drumkits. Very busy and complicated with loads of different sections (funky, chilled, fast, heavy) that make up a constantly progressing trip. I don't know if there's any other cello music like this so let me know if you think there is. Interesting feedback appreciated - criticism, praise, ideas etc. Enjoy...

Description : This is my remix for Spivkurl's I Fall Down. A progressive breakbeat kinda track, quite short but to the point. Adding my own twist and sounds I feel like I was going back to my roots with this one. I haven't played this on anything but my monitors so hopefully the mix is still ok. Description : Second track - after 'Costello' - in my 'The Paris Tapes'-project. Nu Jazz/Chillout. This track features a rap by Kcentric on ccMixter. Kcentrix is an electronic music composer and lyricist who carves out a unique niche by fusing Hip Hop, Jazz, Spoken Word, Breakbeat, and Electronic styles. I incorporated (parts) of his rap 'Dream Of You' in this laid back, short groove, highlighted by Miles Davis-inspired muted trumpet-sounds. This, again, is an attempt to create a 'big city vibe'. It's part of a project wich I hope to finish this year, featuring (jazz)artists from all over the world in unusual musical settings, created by me. PS: the beautiful face in the picture is of former adult performer Sasha Grey. The pic is from the the 2009 movie 'The Girlfriend Experience' by Steven Soderbergh, a film that made a big impression on me. It's a drama set in the days leading up to the 2008 Presidential election, and centered on a high-end Manhattan call girl meeting the challenges of her boyfriend, her clients, and her work. As far as 'big city' is concerned, this is the soundtrack-feel I'm looking for.

Description : *sigh* Several months after the experimental mixtape, this breakbeat/trance/chillout piece is still less than a minute long. Every time I try to go further, the composition seems to lose its energy and fall apart, like I can't make this track live up to the buildup that this intro has made. Any ideas?

One of my more complicated compositions, and one of the ones I'm more proud of, a ton of synth layers, and some nice sounding drums which I'm looking to develop too. Once I conquer the whole build up thing, this is gonna sound great.. until then, 50 second song anyone?
