Description : This is my remix for Spivkurl's I Fall Down. A progressive breakbeat kinda track, quite short but to the point. Adding my own twist and sounds I feel like I was going back to my roots with this one. I haven't played this on anything but my monitors so hopefully the mix is still ok. Hope you enjoy anyway, thanks! You can find the original here:https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/175263

Reply by Diskonnect Thanks for commenting dude, yeah it is quite a long intro for such a short track but I do like the build up then the drop... It was very fun to work on anyway, glad you liked the drums too!

    Cheers

I am loving the intro, it's so calm and I feel relaxed. I'm not familiar with breakbeat music a whole lot but this is really good. The glitch fx at 2.03 was very cool. Good mix, well balanced, it's a well thought out remix. I haven't heard the other entries, but this is fantastic. Spivkurl music is fascinating, and I feel you did justice to his project. Awesome job! Good luck and keep up the good work

Reply by Diskonnect Thanks for the kind words man, glad you liked it! Yeah the intro is pretty chill. I only put it in the breakbeat category because it literally has a breakbeat for the drums haha. I'm not too familiar with it either...

It was very fun to work with. I've done a few Spivkurl remixes now and I love how he lays out the remix pack with all the loops etc.

Spivkurl definitely has his own style, which is cool!

    Thanks again,

    Robbie

Reply by Diskonnect Hey, thanks for listening. Glad you enjoyed it! :)

Yeah I didn't use any of the vocals, not because I didn't like them though. It was the last section of this track I started making first and when I tried fleshing it out I found that the vocals just weren't fitting very well so made it an instrumental.

    Thanks again! :)

Very cool, instrumental version. I liked the chilled edge, slightly breakbeat in it's calmest form.

Description : here it is a quickly done mix for this demo//mash up electro clash sort of // with breakbeat // crunchy soundz and FX. Now this track needs collaborationS ! like a punchy vox and some keyboard skills. I may add some funky guitar at the very end ?? If some space still avaible in the mix...

Description : This is my effort for Static Nomads thread "make a track in the style of another looper" I chose Mr Funktastic because he's got so many cool loops. I just pinched one of his funky basslines and built around it. It's not as good as Joe does it but hey! It was fun to do something a little different from usual.
Description : Intense Breakbeat, could develop into 4 or 5 songs, lotsa guitars and metal and trance and other goodies...well just listen.

Description : Hi guys! Just wanted to take a look at the wave form here on Looperman too...is it still a brick? This is just the second assignment for the Ableton Live course (you can read about it in the forums). Having issues with the compression, clipping and distortion. Edit2: Made an update and took away some audio effects and reduced others. Maybe it's sounding a little clearer now. Also added some midi tracks and rearranged the mix a bit.

Description : I wasn't going to upload this because it's a headphone mix. I'm moving house so the sound system is packed but i figured what the hell, I'll edit it later if it sounds like crap. Anyway, it's mainly synths with a few loops chucked in for good measure.

Description : BRICS, the new economic powerhouse of emerging nations Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. In the struggle for economic dominance will cooperation prevail regarding climate change and other issues of global importance or will it be business as usual? This track is a heavily sampled break beat melange featuring Russian vocalist Doctyabrev and excerpts of speeches in languages of the other three countries including Nelson Mandela, Mahatma Gandhi, and Marina Silva of Brazil. There's a whiff of Maceo's "Cross the Tracks" in there too. Much thanks to all the Looperman contributors including: Doctyabrev, fanto8bc, djnab, blueskies, buffalonugaluss, megapaul, and 7venth12. 100 bpm, key of E.

Description : I HOPE YOU ARE NOT TO LAZY TO READ THIS xD All started with a Future Bass Drum with Reverb at 140 BPM. It sound like Dubstep and then all go fast. A very Deep Synth Flute with Reverb as Bass. Hig Synth for the Melody. High Flute with Reverb for other. And High Wobbling Synth with stereo Phaser. Many Crazy Snares and lite Stick Hits as Percussion with Reverb. End a Pad with the same Stereo Phaser effect. Yeah thats it. I work 4 Hours at this Track. Sounds Like Future Bass or Dubstep with a lite Happy EDM touch. Please leave some Feedback. Which genre is this? Whats good , Whats Bad? You know what I mean :D
