Description : A combination of psychedelic trance and glitch, with a touch of electrotribal brain manipulation. Inspired, for the most part, by my new friend Gymnopilus. The main modulated bass part was courtesy of my DIY modular synthesizer under MIDI control along with live manipulation. Main drums created from the Zoom RT-123. Has some glitchy percussion which was chopped from a crossbending session of Casio SK-1, megcos keyboard, and my modular. Some field recordings from the local farmers marker in 2015 are also present. 1 UP mushrooms for anyone who can identify where the other voice samples came from! Thank you for listening!

Description : hey guys. Here is the latest track from my group SoloCult called BFF. this song is literally the byproduct of a bunch of crazy shit going on in my life right now. Cuzin is in jail for arson, bail a million bucks. and he's mentally disabled so its kinda fucked. Plus he's rich so his mom is trying to go after his cash and I'm the only person in the world that is looking out for his best interest. Well me and my mom and my girl actually. So we dropped this track exactly two weeks after i got the first call from aladdin bail bonds telling me what was up. I am not to happy with the soundcloud release though as it is way over processed in my opinion and is lacking a bottom end. So here is my latest mix and i think if you all agree maybe i will release it on the major streaming services and start a free cuzin campaign. Please let me know.

Description : A new Track, a new Beat. Gospel Boom Bap.
All started with the Organ. The simple Bass. The Drums and the effected Trumpets. Thats all! The Track is done...but...then i found a Speech. The difficult was to make the Speech sound old and vintage. Trying out different Filters. The next was to mix The Beat with the Speech so that the speech dont interrupt the Beat. Description : Step 1) Make a really repetitive beat (No Distortion).

Step 2) Make sure there's a long segment at the end of the beat of JUST THE BEAT because the actual song will only be like a min and 40 secs.

Step 3) For the "distortion", don't actually distort the beat. Most people think you distort the 808 to get the the XXXTENTACION sound, but that's wrong. Make sure the beat is PROPERLY mixed/mastered and THEN boost the bass frequencies until you reach your desired amount of distortion.

Description : Chillout and uptempo cello-based track. A mixture of 160BPM ambient drum 'n' bass (drum 'n' cell) and 80 BPM deep groove sections. The main lead instrument is electric cello, supported by a load of far out synths. VSTs include: a lyre, a glissando harp, a plucked harp, a choir synth, two synth basses and a few synth pads. Drums are a merger of drum loops and programmed acoustic kits. Quite a few cello techniques used: bowing, pizzicato, spiccato and harmonics (both plucked and bowed). This took many hours to make, over a couple of months, hence the title. It's not a great track but it has a positive, uplifting, summery vibe so should be fairly enjoyable. Or at least some inoffensive background music. Have a listen and let me know what you think. Interesting and/or intelligent feedback is always appreciated...
