Description : This tracks owes alot to the music of both Sonic Youth and Girls Against Boys, two bands that I hold in high regard. Overall the song has a Noise-Rock meets Garage-Rock feel to it. At least 3 guitar tracks on this, possibly 4, and a heavy bass track, all parts played by me except for the drums which come courtesy of an SR-16. All tracks were recorded direct to an FD8.

Description : Inspired by a line in The Monkees Head. Iterated through several bands. Rediscovered on 'Master #8'. Redone for a bearable sound quality (and a better solo, believe it or not).

Description : This is a Altern-rock type song made entirely of a sample loops library disk, from either Sony or Bigfishaudio, royalty free....as I buy and use both companies loops and other companies as well. Since I just found this site, I'll try some loops from here as well. :)
I made the song using Protools 7.4 as the main software engine. I added in compression, reverb and some EQ.
I did it all myself from loops and this is my second song ever. The first song I made is an upbeat country one if anyone wants to hear it.

Description : I never saw the grand canyon before, but if I should be there some day this would be my soundtrack for it ...... I used one drumloop by djhatim (djhatim-8882 to be exact ...) and changed the handclap of it ..... the rest is me ..... that drumloop has a lot of power, I wanted to increase that, so this track turned out pretty heavy .... hope you enjoy that too ........... peace, rei

Description : Mid tempo song backed by a solid guitar riff. Added ingrediants, simple lead riff and keyboards, which give it a slight space rock feel ? The whole thing was recorded direct to a Fostex FD8.

Description : it's funny, but I almost forgot about this track, I found it half way finished in my project folder ...... lol .... but anyway, now it's finished!!! ..... it was made with a demo of acid music studio, and this time I used much more tracks as I usually do (30 to be exact!!) ...... synths and bass programmed by me, drumloops are from sonic foundry, guitars played by me ........... the song is about being positive no matter what happens out there, and you can understand it as my view on life .... thx for listening!!! peace, rei

Description : I found a drumloop on the acid homepage that immediately gave me the idea for a lick, then I messed around with fl7, and this is the result .... drums and percussion loops from sony acid, synths made with fl7 by me, guitars recorded as usual with line6podXTlive .... mixed in acid studio ... personally I think it's a real good one, but it was a lot of work to lay it down the way I wanted it .... I hope it's easy for you to listen to .... peace, rei

Description : Okay, I spent some time with this one. It took a while to get the timing down. I actually wrote out the lyrics for this song before I could spit out something on the guitar. The lyrics kept the song going further. Still needs some tweaking.... I should have made the song a little longer, I need to expand on the outra there... so thats why the abrupt ending here! So, keep watching until I get a chance to fix up the ending to fit better. Enjoy!

Description : How to best describe this one? A chilled out beatnick alternative rock with a sort of Jazz and folk thang going on? Used a drum loop, a shaker loop, two bass loops, laid some guitar tracks on it. One Guitar duplicates the upright bass loop, another one strumming the chords and another that's picking at some notes in the chord higher up. Laid down a main vocal track, added a faint darker back up vocal track. Also have a spoken track panned to the left. Actually this is one of those stereo recordings that is made for headphones..... The lead vocal floats around some between the center and slighty left at times. The lead is actually my Acoustic, which I added guitar effects to in Music Maker. Sound like it's an electric. I used my cheap ##### labtec Walmart special PC mic to record the acoustic and sing through.. I tried to make this mix a little hotter and more sperated compared to my last ones. Hopefully the vocals don't stand out in front so much but rather blend with everything else. Oh yeah, I'm using a couple of FX loops.. one is the old record player sound in the start of the song, used another one where the lead guitar starts off. The lead is basically almost the same riff as the bass line. Let me know how the mix is on this one, if it's any better compared to my last few?
