Description : It's been a while since I shared something with the fam so time to address that. With this a song that came out of a very messy evening. Thoughts are appreciated and if anyone feels like adding some vocals please get in touch although not listed as a collab.

Description : Phatkatz made a nice bayou blues track. He made some steems and send them to me. All guitars are cbg's and have a cool sound. I really loved them and did a new mix and mastering. And on the top i put some vocals. What came out is this (in my ears cool sounding) blues song. Hope you can enjoy it. Description : Fresh out of the studio after 10 weeks of deliberating, planning, writing and performing.
This could be classed as Country Blues or Southern Rock...either way I think it may get your toes tapping. So grab your partner and jump on the dance floor with this one.
I am performing the following instruments...vocals, electric guitars, slide acoustic, bass, harmonica, organ. I wrote the following instrument parts in MIDI....drums, percussion, piano, horns. This was a beast to master but I think it turned out okay.
No loops used.
This could be classed as Country Blues or Southern Rock...either way I think it may get your toes tapping. So grab your partner and jump on the dance floor with this one.

Description : The a capella 'No more, my Lawd' was recorded by John Avery Lomax inside Mississippi State Penitentiary at Parchman in 1946/47. Parchman was an infamous prison plantation. Convicts were forced to work, and the labor conditions inside the prison were largely indistinguishable from slavery. In order to pace their work, the inmates would sing. Lomax: "I had to face that here were the people that everyone else regarded as the dregs of society, dangerous human beings, brutalized and from them came the music which I thought was the finest thing I’d ever hear coming out of my country." 'No More, My Lawd' was recorded while the artist (Jimpson) was chopping wood. I cut out the sound of the axe to beatmatch the song to the piano-motive. From there on, this track wrote itself.
