Cold And Alone - Costantinog

Name: Cold and Alone
Duration: 234 s
Channel: costantinog
Description: I created this beat on fl studio 4 for a friend of mine. He spit to it freestyle and named it. I used two pads that I tweaked a lil bit from gladiator and sytrus. I'm thinking about getting rid of the snaps. The kicks were in the standard hip hop pack along with the bass.

Yeah this beat got potential. I agree with Bewl man. I like the darkness and creep style of this beat. Keep those snaps in and change the pad every so often so you don't over kill it. I do the same with my beats too :) I get scared to drop out certain sounds cause it feels too minimal w/o them. But I've been trying to overcome that. Dope track man...Keep up the beat creation...Blume:)

Thanks for your review of my track! This beat has some potential. It is however missing an important element, the main line :D. The sounds you have I would use for an ambiance to accent the main line track. Also, raise the levels of the baseline up a bit, as well as the kick. Leave those snaps in for sure, it gives a special sound to the rhythm. Would also love to hear some cymbals or even some OHH every 4-8 bars, and possibly a reverse cymbal during transition from hook to chorus. I hope I wasn't too nitpicky, but I wouldn't be if the beat didn't have some serious potential!

Im digging the dark vibe to this. Sounds like the city at night in a way. I'd like to hear the freestyle over it, it sounds like it'd be dope if the lyrics went with the flow of the song.
Those synths just creep up on ya haha.

Description : I wanted to create something dark and romantic with an RnB and retro wave touch. This song has a retro futurism feel to it. I was inspired by The Weeknd when I was writing this song, especially his first mixtape, House Of Balloons, hence the deep roamntic analogies in the songwriting. I have sung this song myself and produced it too. No AI used here. This is an old song.
