Description : the lyrics are science fiction jabberwocky. they were written mostly for sound, rhythm & stream-of-consciousness imagery, like a tribal chant. they sound meaningless but are actually symbolic. "off with the clones in the cemetery bones" means that the clones are out robbing graves & committing necrophilia so it's definitely a song of dark humor, that's why the music is so dark & eerie. the feel is moody triphop in the verses & more rocktronica in the refrain, where i played several galactic fuzztones on guitar. the time shifts from 4 to 6 to 8 & the harmony is very chromatic. i wrote the song, did the vocals & guitars & programmed the track on logic 9. all of the sounds are combinations of different elements, if i use a drum loop i will progam an indenical track on the ultrabeat drum synth to reinforce it. when your time signature is changing a lot then looping becomes more complicated but it can be done.

Holy cow ! I was supposed to go to work today! but you gave me a flashback ! Iam tripping so bad I had to have my girlfriend call in for me, just sitting at the computer staring at the screen, she is calling my name and i want to respond but i just can't! thanks for the buzz going to fav this one because the track is telling me to! Oh my god what have you done!
ha, funny review. you make a good point--psychedelic music is not music by people on drugs or about drugs, it IS a drug. it alters your consciousness. we believe in the cosmic giggle. i hope you don't sue me for the lost day's wages!
i dont think i have ever heard tetrahedron used in lyrics before...u have great production accumen...where's the shrooms...very well put together and i don't think u ever have to worry about any one biting your style...
HAHAHAHA! i can hardly tell what your saying, but what i can catch is pretty funny, even if it is dark humor. this is pretty good, the atmosphere is a very off and eerie feeling, with nicely written lyrics in the perfect voice to implement humor. good job mate!

hey thanks man, it's always encouraging to find people on your wavelength. some people think i am making light of this serious situation with these necrophiliac clones digging up graves on the moon all these years. i guess it's better to laugh @ it than freek out.
Wow - a very interesting track indeed, man! Sounds like a cross between the 90's alternative hip-hop group Marxman and the electro/industrial outfit Front 242. I love the strange synth lines and electric guitar sequences used here, plus those unusual/alternative lyrics fit well into the general theme of the song. Great to listen to and hope u to hear more tracks from you soon. Greetz, --Davey--
thanks bro, i will have to check out those groups you mentioned. i have noticed more psychedelic music these days so people seem more ready to trip out on stuff like this.
Description : Feel free to check out the video on YT as well (Alan McLaren Project - Upside Down) of this 6min journey from electronic to rock with some psychedelic moments...
This is my latest, but also one of my earliest tracks.... any feedback is more than welcome, thanks :)
Description : 'The main point of this song is really about the frustrations of living in the overload of today's World of Tech. The consequences are impaired communication and that if you advance too far you end up diminishing what you had to start with, so you are way worse off.' Enjoy a 60s Rhythm with a modern deep Bass, a Sitar, a Piano from EvilPianist, a lost flute from UniverseHuston and some Oscillators :-)

Description : A demo of one of my current projects. The chorus vocal sounds like "Aaaaraashe" to me. The song is in C# minor with a nod to C# pythagorean on the chorus. The beat on the verse was inspired by the Peter Gabriel song Intruder.
Description : This is one of my earliest productions that I did at the start of my recording career. I did not have a keyboard at the time I made this song, so I improvised and used my sister's iPad and a 5 dollar GarageBand application instead, and plugged the headset jack into into my PT6 rig and did my best to turn each individual track (which were mono and there were about 25 tracks or so) into a stereo image. Then recorded vocals over it. My computer was so old and slow that I had to mix my music and then BOUNCE it to a new session - four times. My computer (which had 512 MB RAM and an 80 GB hard drive) couldn't handle more than 8 tracks at a time or it'd stop working because the processor couldn't handle it. Took me FOREVER to do. But I got it done. Had a lot of fun doing it too, even if it isn't my "best" work. I'm still happy with it, considering I didn't have many tools to choose from at the time.
Description : Long time lurker first time poster, pretty new to production n stuff, this is my first track in Ableton Live.
was going for a darkwave/synthwave sound, reminiscent of Justice, Carpenter Brut, Perturbator, ect.
Looking for some feed back, constructive criticisms or even just your thoughts if you liked it or not. This is just a rough cut on this current WIP, just the bones of it if you will.. If you have some cool title suggestions, would love to hear those too.
Thanks for listening.
