Man, I LOVE your style! Your quickly becoming one of my favs here :D Thanks for the info on 'tweak'n' kicks. The progression to this track is fantastic, it tickles the senses.

Great track. Just wondering where do you get your kick samples?

DjBradd replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

Thanks, i found a kick that sounded half decent from the VEH2 kicks and i use audition to get rid of any "Noise" in the background so it is just a clean punchy thud. I then bring it into ableton and tweak it with the EQ making sure it has a good level of "Thud" lol. I Usually do not use "samples" it is made by me. You can take most kicks and tweak to the way you want.

codymeiser 8th Nov 2009 04:43 - 16 years ago

Wow. I really like the bass kick you have in there. It builds so well. I like everything about this. I could never tell what was gonna happen next. Great job i can tell you spent a long time on it.

DjBradd replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

Yea, the kick is always very important to me, i try to create one with an equal balance of punch and bass. I appreciate your kind words, thanks.

Description : A sketch has been circulating showing two robots sitting on a bench, while many humans-both young and old-walk by. One of the robots is engrossed in studying books, while the other is drawing a flower in a sketchbook with equal passion. The humans, meanwhile, walk about with a dazed expression, their gazes fixed on a mobile phone or some other similar device. I put this sketch as a cover photo to this music I made years ago and just freshened up a bit. Hope you like it !
