wow awesome track man. very laid back. Man you are getting a great feel out of this for sure....its clean..but dirty at the same time haha if you know what i mean :p great bass line too man.
i remember seeing this when it was fathers day, and .. i am really bad about fathers... (think cigarette burns and buddhism and alcoholism)
Soo.. naturally, i was very turned off about .. someone preaching about ... their father.. IN fact.. it makes me think about God. And mortality. Time.. Time.. Time......
The song.. It makes me think about .. deserts, and evergreens... The pines.. when I would listen to Bach in my dad's volvo in the middle of the mountains. And i fucking hated his guts. Interresting lol... Perhaps later, when I listen on my iPod, I will have a different perspective...
I think it funny, how,... to me.. i can draw my own rationalization of what this music means.. hearing the lovely IMPECCABLE voice, (it must drive you nuts just watching her sing) and the perfect mix that you laid out.
I really commend you. Your music is Amazing. With Lux Divon or not.
just remember that people make mistakes and the best thing for you to do is to forgive and move on with your life.. because the longer you hold onto negativity the more of your self you loose.
Hey Boson..nice one!...this is really cool and smooth..Love the bass man!(sits like running treacle in the mix..way smooth)..I think Lux is really hitting her straps here...the phrasing is very original and cruises..lovely flute tone as well, compliments the voice perfectly...this is a top tune!..I'll bet this little number goes down a treat with the audience...man I'd love to hear an extended live version of this with some heavy comping thrown in...excellent work guys!...cheers planet :)
thanks man!
i don't know if will do this live anytime soon but ya never really know. we both really like this track but i'm sick of it because i've been mixing it for like 8 hours lol.. so i can't make any decisions just yet but i feel it just may have one of the best drum patterns i've ever programed.

Description : Did you ever have those days when you are totally distracted? You find yourself switching from one thing to another due to overwhelm - say hallo to 'ADHD' But this time we could focus on the song and used some loops from Hysteria and Bigishi. And a big thanks to James who did help us with the guitars. (He was in the mood for blues :-) We are on Bandcamp as kayos2 Tell us what you think of this track....
Description : so having been inspired by our girl Rita singing the blues I threw myself in and had a go, i went at it with full gusto, i think soul, blues are hard to hit because the singers always have fantastic voices lush females and deep soulfull males with great baratone vocals, i obviously don't have the greatest voice, but you gotta have belief in yourself first, yes i put emotion into my lyric delivery so this was a stretch, its less Teddy Swimms more dimestop sings :)) i'm sure you'll let me know
Description : Of all the classic Monster tales the Wolfman is definitely one of the saddest. Cursed, and destined to live as both man and monster. During the day he sits alone with his guitar, a prisoner of lonely existence, crying his heart out through his music. Then at night, the beast emerges, and in the dark under a full moon, he cry's as he rips the hearts out of his victims! Such is the life of a cursed bluesman!
Description : Hopefully it is the first song of an imaginary album that I will call "Diverse waves". I believe the title of this "album" will keep me focused on a style that incorporates and blends various musical elements for the pleasure of our ears.
I really hope you will like the results of this attempt.
Description : This is a tune dedicated to my friend, Nancy, who followed me to the clubs I played at for years, and is still following me with my studio work. Why do I dedicate this to her? Onnacounta cause she's soooooo naughty! She never liked violins, but loved her sax! Here's to you, Nancy. Anyway, this is a little blues track with some nice guitar and sex...oh, sorry, I mean sax.
Description : guitar on right run thru my friends mesa rec 25. It has an absolutely gorgeous tone. The guitar playing D, C #, B is run thru guitar rig 6. The the pushed back guitar on the left is also run thru the mesa. My UNC chapel-hill decision letter is coming out tomorrow and I'm super stressed. Whipped out my guitar and recorded some stuff. Hope you like it.
Description : A sultry, seductive, and fairly short acoustic blues number. It is an instrumental and only took about 2 hours to write, record, and get a decent mix. Enjoy! Updated: I added some slight echo to the electric guitar and widened the stereo fields of the acoustic rhythm and leads.
Description : Miguel Flores, vocals. Jean-Maurice Humbert-Droz, lead guitars. Laurent Schwaar, guitars. Roland Sumi, bass. Richard Pizzorno, Hammond. Laurent Wirz Drums. Loop from josephfunk (rhodes). Composed by Miguel Flores.
Description : KesstA or "What's ur prob" Blues is an excuse for having fun recording several tracks of guitar and trying to make them sound alright all together. If it sounds a bit messy or jammy, well it's part of it.
Description : Fresh out of the studio after 10 weeks of deliberating, planning, writing and performing.
This could be classed as Country Blues or Southern Rock...either way I think it may get your toes tapping. So grab your partner and jump on the dance floor with this one.
I am performing the following instruments...vocals, electric guitars, slide acoustic, bass, harmonica, organ. I wrote the following instrument parts in MIDI....drums, percussion, piano, horns. This was a beast to master but I think it turned out okay.
No loops used.
whose is the female voice?
Chris
that is the singer in my band and fiance
