Description : This is a track I found, I mixed and tweaked it just right to the point that the drops are perfect ... the distortion and the drum hits are clean and on point and the ambience flows well through the whole beat. Definitely a hip hop like electronic track that deserves some sick vocals. All reviews welcome ... DL this and let me know what ya'll can come up with. J DOT ~ 2006

mmm mmm, nice man, this is reminiscient of some of the cutting edge futuristic electro hip hop that David Spradley, Ted Currier, both of whom I knew from Unique Recording days, and others who coproduced with George Clinton man during the 80's and 90's, i had a tape that i listened to alot with that Atomic Dog woof woof type of sh*t lol,"Some of my best jokes are friends.." ha..heavy mind bending synth sounds, back then stuff like Oberheims and Prophet 5's, 10's..PolyMoogs, Mini Moog's, Emulator...even though I'm originally a guitarist I've spent alot of years around synths..
heavy stuff...i'll be back...

parts of this remind me of"its cold as ice"... nice track ma friend the drums sound fresh and crisp, which works well with the rough raw sounds uve combined them with...enjoyed this track with real attitude, with a the piano part the light amounst the dark so to speak
oooooo. grimey, i like....haha, this is one of the first electronic tracks i have faved...ever!!!! i love the synths you put in here, i love the drums a lot bro...i bet you spent quite some time on this....great work
Wow Prize, thanks. To know you've fav'd this as your first EVER electronic track EVER, makes me feel as if I accomplished something extraordinary cause thats what I basically started doing back in the day like 10 years ago, making electronic tracks. Its just not all electronic, it has mad amounts of hip hop influence which Im sure you noticed. I love blending 2 or more genres / styles together. Thanks again Prize, for real.
Ahh man, thanks for the nice review, appreciate it. It definitely is electronic and I loved mixing it all the way to the end ( wish it was longer though ) ... If thats what you like then check out my track 'Grasstoys' now thats an even sicker track.

Thanks by the way, I like it alot as well, shows my diversity a little. Umm to answer your question bout slowing down the arpeggio, I did it on accident and it was on the fly can you believe that ( I messed around with it first on the rough cuts a few times before I uploaded the final product when I became better at it ) which is why its a remix. Description : 'The main point of this song is really about the frustrations of living in the overload of today's World of Tech. The consequences are impaired communication and that if you advance too far you end up diminishing what you had to start with, so you are way worse off.' Enjoy a 60s Rhythm with a modern deep Bass, a Sitar, a Piano from EvilPianist, a lost flute from UniverseHuston and some Oscillators :-)

Description : A demo of one of my current projects. The chorus vocal sounds like "Aaaaraashe" to me. The song is in C# minor with a nod to C# pythagorean on the chorus. The beat on the verse was inspired by the Peter Gabriel song Intruder.
Description : This is one of my earliest productions that I did at the start of my recording career. I did not have a keyboard at the time I made this song, so I improvised and used my sister's iPad and a 5 dollar GarageBand application instead, and plugged the headset jack into into my PT6 rig and did my best to turn each individual track (which were mono and there were about 25 tracks or so) into a stereo image. Then recorded vocals over it. My computer was so old and slow that I had to mix my music and then BOUNCE it to a new session - four times. My computer (which had 512 MB RAM and an 80 GB hard drive) couldn't handle more than 8 tracks at a time or it'd stop working because the processor couldn't handle it. Took me FOREVER to do. But I got it done. Had a lot of fun doing it too, even if it isn't my "best" work. I'm still happy with it, considering I didn't have many tools to choose from at the time.
Description : Long time lurker first time poster, pretty new to production n stuff, this is my first track in Ableton Live.
was going for a darkwave/synthwave sound, reminiscent of Justice, Carpenter Brut, Perturbator, ect.
Looking for some feed back, constructive criticisms or even just your thoughts if you liked it or not. This is just a rough cut on this current WIP, just the bones of it if you will.. If you have some cool title suggestions, would love to hear those too.
Thanks for listening.
