Thanks for the listen and comment, glad you like it. That the beat in my tracks nearly ever stops has to do with the fact that when dancing, dropping the beat can take you out of the flow, ruining the experience, only people having their internal metronome synced with the previous beat, can keep on dancing. I love trance but I hate the beat-less breaks, I'm on the floor to dance, but now the beat is gone, and the crowd is waiting as a flock of sheep for the start of the beat ;) For me who was on the floor a long time ago this is still an issue and a reason to dislike many DJ's. I'm old I guess ;)

Excellent sound, spacey, with great use of the stereo field. The productive process you followed resulted in this beautiful song, which I also believe is your own. There's plenty of material to work with all around, but what truly matters are your ideas and dedication to creating something great beyond what's given. Well done.
Best regards, Anthony

Thanks for the listen and comments, glad you like it, have another house track nearly done, except for a house drum, no example this time, but now using lib vox and acapella's ;) But the next upload is the result of a project that started in the second half of February :)

Very good House track Frans! Great you used your own vocals (with a million filters :D)

Thanks, glad you like it. Yea, I'm no singer, so my vocals always need a little short of a million filters ;)

Hi there, nice track, evil laugh and all. Sounds amazing, are you still using all reaper stock plug ins? Cheers Chris.

Thanks Chris for the listen and comment. I'm still fond of the Reaper stock plugins, starting to dislike non Reaper plugins more and more, it happened already twice that free tools changed to paid and I hate paying for something stock tools can do too. In this case only the vocal and master tracks FX heavily use stock tools: JS:RBJ Highpass/Lowpass Filters, ReaComp, ReaEQ, ReaFir, ReaLimit, ReaPitch, ReaTune, ReaVerberate.

And there is a new free tool I'm using: Spectral Resonance Suppression using ANINA. Besides the standard functionality (resonance suppression) I also use it as de-esser and as ducker by using i.e. the vocals as side-chain to create room in the "music", not dimming a range but subtracting the vocal sound from the music when existent ;) Check the Reaper website --> Videos --> Latest Videos --> NEW: Spectral Resonance Suppression.

Thanks Robin for the listen and comment. I'm also pleased with the vocals, I'm getting better and better in creating these quirky vocals and own creations bring most of the time extra fulfilment :)

FX are wonderful and the beat with the rhythm patterns are really 'out there' groovy - brilliant Club mix

Thanks for the listen and comment, I'm glad you like it, but I can't accept all credits as the base for this came from a website as I got a free Kontakt Select Electronic and had to play with it :). Found a blog describing the creation of a Tech House track using tools from the Contact Select Electronic toolset. Kontakt (Libs: Feel It + Nacht and Leap[Progressive Trance]) + Massive X. I had to change the Massive X presets as the describes where not in my setup, changed some melodies, added an extra synth track, added extra percussion using Battery 4, and almost everything gets a treat by Replica XT + Raum.
Topped by my own vocals heavily FX-ed and in one case even a vocoder fed by vocal + pitched synth. The riser is a subproject, a reversed Massive X sound. Added a oneshot using Kontakt Glaze and a oneshot using Hype.
The result is very different as the blog example and therefore mine now, but I'm open where the idea came from :)

Description : Shorten My Days is a deeply personal prayer about examining the true intentions behind our relationship with God. It wrestles with the uncomfortable question of whether we seek Him because we genuinely love Him, or because of what we want from Him and the world around us. It is a plea for God to strip away selfish motives, sustain us through life's battles, and teach us to live in a way that brings glory to His name.
Guitar: Nameless.
