Hi kingmt77, Ah that saxophone... Love it and the keys too. Those are what stick out the most to me. Very relaxing, chilled, intelligent track you have, where there is space for everyone to get on with their "own thing". I enjoyed it

Hey, Mark! It's been quite a while since I have listened to some contemplative jazz. The piano and bass intro really draws the ear in, then that brilliant sax. The changes are so incredibly smooth. All the players are obviously top-notch. Great Production. Hat's off to all ya'll!

Tremendous focus went in to this one - I hope it helped clear your head when you were struggling. Slap's sax is awesome and the flutter of the piano at the end is divine. Overall composition is genius - you know Jazz ain't ma thing, lol but even a genre heathen like me, can hear this is awesome - Kay

Hello Mark !
I simply enjoyed the track and I would like to keep it in my hard disc (We say many songs or music tracks are good but ... we keep very few on our HD...) ! To my ears , Mr. SJ is the center of attention (like an extremely good attacking player in a football team) but, the others don't lag behind at all.... Thanks for sharing man ! Cheersssssssssss !

Description : "Oh no - not jazz metal! You're not supposed to mix those genres together." Yes, but someone's got to and the musical gods have chosen me for the difficult task. 9 mins of instrumental jazz metal - damn I sure know how to write a hit song - US No 1 here I come. Anyway - there's some dark, swinging groovy jazz, with Rhodes and guitar as the main instruments, for a few minutes and then some haunting, thumping evil breaks loose. Look out for the powerful synth horn sound. And then it just gets heavier and heavier before returning to some nice chillgroove funky mystery jazz. Instruments played and/or programmed: electric guitar, bass guitar, electric cello, multiple programmed acoustic drumkits, filtered strings, Rhodes, big synth bass, evil synth horn and a few other assorted synths. I assume this has too much jazz for metallers and too much metal for jazzers. So, only for weirdoes like me who enjoy both. This will surely be too odd for most people but I like to think it's pretty interesting and powerful. Let me know how its weirdness worked for you...
