Liquid DnB made completely in Reason 4, thank you Slap for wonderful sax loops!
Tell me everything you think that could make it better.

you know... you and harmonixx i think have grown the most over the time that I have been on this site.
This has great dub, but the vocals did get on my nerves.
I was like .. ok Number One shut up, you are fucking up the break!
lol... this is great, i love how you are playing the delay to your advantage!!! that is adding such intensity...
good sense of space...
ok... so i want to offer you my ideas..
I woulda posted this as jazz lol.. (just to be a dickhead) and then , i would taken the voice, you know at the first part, how he says, number one, number one, but then reversed it into your crash on the down beat?.. you know?? and then , after doing that, his voice could become molded into anything you want..
like reverse textured synthed out voice?.. or like... chopped and screwed.. lol.. that would be epic..
i dunno curtis..
you are .. like.. to me, i think about it, you are already a legend in my mind, just that as the more you grow older, I can only wonder if you will be number one, or stop giving a shit about numbers..? you know??
sorry for the deep review..
but i brought you some cookies.
Weird, today I went into the kitchen looking for cookies, girl scout cookies, thin mints to be exact, but my dad ate them all, so thank you for the cookies. I have made a lot of changes, definitly going to working with the vocals more. You should hear what I have on my computer, its hundreds times better, the mastering makes it awesome, thick and lush. Ill definitly mess with reversing the vocals. Oh yeah I'm going to have a hardcore release soon, maybe within the week. I have talked to the label owner and he's liking the tune, I'm just waiting on a guy, dj cotts, to give me a vocal saying,"mate, those are awesome pants where did you get them?" Yeah it'll be a banger. Get on gmail we need to talk
Liquid D&B? Hmm, interesting mate. So this is your submission to the comp, ay? Rawk on! It's just so odd listening to something when I've used the loops to. Because of that a part of me wants to fight it, but you've thrown enough extra stuff into this to make it cool. And I must say, that I'm definately diggin the effected Saxophones ya used on this. And the drumline and bass are nice and juicy. Heck, this'd be a pretty tight song without using the Free-loops samples, ya know? Haha, no, I'm not discouraging you from the comp, lil bro. In fact, I'd say this one has me beat by atleast a few ranks (like 4+ higher). Anyways, nicely done mate. Later on!
i love the sax! saxiphone is a fabulous instrument and fits in well. i love the vocal work and this sort of beat with vocals sort of reminds me of moby, and i think you could learn some by listening to how he lines up his vocals to beats. i found that the beat in this seemed maybe rushed? i don't know just something about the vocals and beat together just made me antsy... i think its the synth, is that what you used? but i think it could be improved by not using the synth or not using the echo on it, i think thats what i'm hearing. i absolutely loved your use of sound levels though, and fading, it gave the song dynamic and i love that. i also loved the just stripped sax, sounds nice!c keep up the good work!
As for the beat. I am remastering it, it's got a more solid kick and snare pattern, maybe that will fix what your talking about, I'll see about the delay on the pluck synth too and check out the vocals.
I've got some awesome edits done to it so far, I'll update it sometime, but the bassline is fatter, smooths out some things, added a few things such as FX.
The mastering I have done really brings out the snare and kick, I added a sub kick too, it's got plenty of punch in a more subtle way.
Liked what you have done here, sax is worked in very well, I would not have thought to add sax to this type of background. Great creativity, well done.
Hey Curtis.....your tracks are getting better and better..this has real presence and a dramatic feel..the bass line is wicked and you've tied in Slap's sax brilliantly, top notch synth work.....the fades lift the dynamic tension into full on fusion mode....the vocals were a nice touch and lend a cool quality...this really is a great track from your ever expanding musical creativity....great work! cheers Dave :)

Description : Chaos....Chaos ensues when life is unfolding in many different ways all around you. A demand here, a demand there, do this, do that, things going wonky or all happening at the same time. It's overwhelm but it's excitement, it's crazy but it's also very real. Welcome to the world of Kay-0s!

Description : In 2015 I made a dubstep track called Labyrinth Of The Absurd. This is part 2. Check out part 1 if you haven't yet. This is a Dark D-n-B. Or whatever.
I used Serum, Massive, Sylenth1. I used no presets, and no prefabricated loops. This is all original content from scratch. The only exception being the vocal samples.
Description : Ambient breaking into dnb I guess. All loops (except for 1 synth by my 7 yo daughter) so I can’t take much credit for this. Free demo loops from Loopmasters and LM loops from:

Description : 170 BPM drum 'n' cell epic. That's drum 'n' bass with lots of my layered, lead cello playing. It's both banging and chilled out, with intricate basslines and soaring, melodic cello parts. Instruments: electric cello, piano, three synth basses, two synth pads. Drums are loads of drum loops supported by a few programmed acoustic drum kits. It's fast and powerful stuff but there are also two deep grooving half tempo sections. No guitar so anything that sounds like it might be is, unsurprisingly, cello. This was fairly hard to make and required a lot of hard work. It's still far from perfect, especially the rather abrupt, unimaginative ending (I couldn't think of anything better). Have a good listen and then consider leaving me some fascinating feedback. Not much drum 'n' cell about so I like to think this is worth checking out...
Description : Sometimes I love taking our great singers out of their comfort zone and placing them in a completely different genre. This time, it's Callmedezz, for whom I've created a velvety soft bed of sounds for his rather powerful voice, making sure the women feel comfortable after light is switched off :-)
Description : This track uses lyrics written in Morse Code, with tempo and pitch adjustments to fit. I’ve also programmed some Morse into an analog synth part.

Description : So ive been listening to alot of dnb lately, and i decided to try my hand at it. It turned out to be alittle more chillout than I wanted it to be, but I still like how it turned out.
Description : I met this October with a desire to do something new. I got tired of listening to 90s Jungle and decided to make something fresh that would still sound old-school in the future.

A ambient type of DnB track, one to make you think, Second attempt at the DnB genre for this year, again apologise to Drum and Bass artist, guessing again not your normal DnB.Used flute Rhodes Piano, and a few other bits to hopefully get the feeling for the piece I wanted, along with a few break beats/bass lines and FX etc...
Please comment/review and the favour will be returned...
I got my start in the industry (As in paid artist/music label) with Liquid DnB, it's a nice thing to go back to every once in a while. Especially remixing such fantastic vocals.
