This is hot! Great organ and muted trumpet. Drum mix and bass is sitting nicely.

... I don't know what crime show, but I have an idea for the story... its about a guy who had 3mins 26 seconds of his life stolen.
Just kidding. This one has a way different feel than hall monitor, but still has a fun, funky feel. Is it your skills that did the octave transition across keys? The downshift in keys, was great. Definitely a tune worth recognition.
With two bangin' tunes like this, you need to keep on keepin' on. I like this one more than Hall Monitor, but no point in comparing apples to oranges.
Lookin' for more yo.

You'll never get that 3:26 back.

I'm not sure which downshift you mean. On each verse, it goes to the IV and walks down chromatically. Does that 3 times in the track, with the little Miles Davis flourish. I didn't do those changes, just chose them.

If you mean the bridge/break thing, where the guitar and clarinet stack up an Fm chord and then sting on G, then yeah, I had to glue all that together myself. :)

(The clarinets describe an empty 5th plus octave, but the guitars actually include the minor 3rd.)

I enjoy listening to this one more than Hall Monitor myself. Not sure why. Anyhow, thanks for the cool review.

Kinky phone lines could use this too, but only the cool ones that have telephone answering donkeys and world leaders phoning in every Thursday. I especially like the basslines. Nice funk guitar as well. You have quite the knack for allignment and arrangement. This actually really makes me think of Sam & Max Freelance Police. I would be interested in hearing some Burright remixes of some of the odder things that I have made. All in all, everything is just Burright. Another three thumbs for this one (the vocal track on the other gets the half thumb which this one doesn't).

Been listening to your stuff since you posted this and am letting it stew. I will put some remixness on it and see what you think. Donkeys are standing by, so call now. Thanks again for the benefit of your listening organs.

Description : This track is built around the repetitive lead guitar line which I have previously incorporated as an intro for the rocker track "Sweetheart Runner" by LM user TinyFinger whom I have helped in arranging, mixing and producing his song. This extended session was a good oportunity to test some new equipment....Thanks to Tiny for not being mad about it...:)^^

Description : Now also on Apple music!! Please please check the link in my profile and give it a play! (Spotify to follow soon). And if you do that, let me know if I can repay the favour!
================

The song feels to me a bit like it could be on stage in a musical. It's a bit theatrical... I like it, but the next one might well be a rock song ;)

All instruments & vocals recorded live at home, without samples.

Description : Hello, everyone!
This one is a bit special because it's not one of my loops, it's jdmax121's loop " Dreamy ".
I loved it so much that I had to make something out of it. It will probably end up being on my upcoming EP.
If you liked it, or not, please let me know!
Have a nice day.
Ps: Here's the link to the loop https://www.looperman.com/loops/detail/97021/jdmax-dreamy-by-jdmax121-free-100bpm-chill-out-electric-guitar-loop

Description : Psychedelic Eastern cellhop progressing into a heavy and not at all hip hop ending. Lots of cool basslines and killer beats, all at 80 BPM. Cello is the main instrument and it also covers all the bass parts (no other bass instruments used). I didn't have to add any octave lowering effects to those cello basslines. A few synths, including a dark, trippy pad that gets very psychedelic and swirling when delay and distortion are added. Also a lyre to occasionally add an Eastern drone sound and an 8bit lead sine synth in one section. Drums are mixture of programmed acoustic kits and drum loops. You can really bounce to this shit while firing your guns in the air. So, do that and then come back and let me know if you enjoyed it. Criticism, praise, suggestions etc all welcome. Now get ready to bounce...

Description : Return To Forever was a group that started my love of fusion jazz and this is my attempt to cover their 1976 track, “The Romantic Warrior. I know I wore out several inceptions of this album from LP, cassette and 8 track. The original track was over 10 minutes long, so I abridged it some. Hope you like and download.
