Description : This is a remaster with some light edits of my first track uploaded to the Loop. It's a jazz-funk-fusion composition I wrote and put some extra polish on. My hope is that It's just as good this round or better than the first. Let's hear some feedback. Thanks for listening. ENJOY!

Angelus! Greetings:) Correct you are………. It’s been a minute but I’m still at it my friend. I’m changing over to a new system that’s changing my work flow. You know……….LEARNING CURVE! Your stop and taking another listen is really important. PLUS you’re still creating LOVELY songs that showcase your exceptional vocals. “About You”, is really soulful and translates something that the only thing I can say, NEXT LEVEL! Loving your confident delivery. Nice One…….Sweet! My Friend! Stay safe.
Faved obviously, great mix, super crisp. How are you chosing your chord progressions? Melody reference? Just curious. Great tone on all the instruments. Interesting initial "Island feel." 1:49 is almost a Mario quote.
bringer! My dude what’s up? Thanks for stopping by. I’m glad you shared your thoughts and perspective. At the risk of sounding lame……..I really cannot answer your questions about chord progressions and melody references. When I sit down and go to work, my ears just kick in and I go with the flow. A lot of trial and error and a lot of listening to sections over and over again. And yep that bass lick will take you straight down the warp pipe! I appreciate the fave! Peace.
Just wanted to thank enormously for your support on my songs it is highly appreciated! indeed and lets me know I'm doing something right :) I totally Get you & love your work as you already know my friend. Have a blessed day my friend.

Man! you definitely went to town on this one, talk about not playing around but track carries this air of you having so fun!!! the bass is real nice! heck, every thing about this track got me singing!!! sweet melodies in this also and the horns steal the show. Luv it! *Take a Bow* Jazzman you are on FIRE! here. Bravo! Hearted as a sign of my approval :) Great work My Friend!
Angelus. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, fave and the effects this track had on you. Got you moving, singing and grooving? Then I accomplished my objective! Fun? Nothing but fun! Bass? You already know. Changing gears, your track "Maths Equation", well I really loved not only your voice but the vocal chain is FIRE! And you were totally locked on top of that great acoustical track. Upward progression is what I call it. Keep this trajectory my dear friend. Stay safe always.
Your song structures get better and better Mark! I was very happy to hear the theme from the start come back around 3:30 (and around 1:00 I guess) and then to the end. Well. At 4:27 you go off in a different direction... but that's your prerogative ;)
Lovely stuff my friend. Happy New Year!!
BaoBou. Thanks for the stop and reaction. Structure has been my main focus lately. So many ideas are running through my head that now I'm getting better at managing what I'm doing. Personally, that's a milestone. @ 4:27 well sometimes you have got to go off-roading for the adventurist, LOL! Happy New Year to you and your family, buddy! Peace.
Hey Mark - Im wondering how you could possibly have added this much funk and not be taking the piss but its got be because if sublime musicianship, staging and production and 'tis a delightful journey for the ears. Very enjoyable listen
Hey Ian! Thanks for stopping through for this listen. Your comments and huge compliments with the fave put me in mind of a musician's statement I heard years ago. "Funk Is Its Own Reward". It's a big honor that you enjoyed what you heard. Happy and peaceful Holidays to you and your family.
So Mark! How can you? This is so full of funkyness that it really blows my mind. Everything sounds great, the explosive horns, the fantastic guitars, your incredible keyboard playing, but what really gets me the most are the drums... with them the motto is: the sky is the limit! Listening is pure joy here, and I'm guessing that's your intention, right. Mission accomplished.
Cheers,
Micky
Hello Micky. If by any chance this one put a smile on your face, that's what's up! Funky stuff does that to me too! I'm really happy that you enjoyed all the nuances with the twist and turns. When drumming, I try hard not to over play, but stay in a melodic zone and still keep a strong rhythmic foundation. The comments as well as the compliments are received graciously. I appreciate the time you've spent for this listen and that it was totally worth it. Peace.
great funky jazz Mark, love the deep feel the bass is red hot fantastic instrumentation all sing in the right place, that drop at 2.22 had me for a moment but followed by a little riff and play with a significant octave and chord change that worked great, excellent keys the funky guitar is fly, i dont expect anything less from you bro, your style is exceptional keep sharing mate
Paul! You know I appreciate the stop through, the detailed feedback, and yet another BAFTA LOL! That section you mentioned happens to be my favorite, along with the new guitar drop section at 1:07. I'm glad you enjoyed this one. Peace.

Description : 'Love will find you at the right time'...This track is about how we vibrationally attract love. From my recollection, in the early 20s/teen years, a typical place to encounter this wonderful force was the Disco. (Kay)

Description : Continuing my journey with sampling. This was mostly an accident, and not where I originally thought it would go but I'm happy with the destination. I started with the track Real Reel Switcher by Eunice Russ Frost, which has a slower melancholy swing to it, however I've been playing a bunch of older video games lately, with SSX being in the mix heavily, so this track ended up taking on a bit of that for inspiration as well. Would love your thoughts.

Description : A Dark Funk tune , with a touch of Nawlin's jazz funeral procession. Midi-sparks asked me to do a Halloween song for his competition, and so here it is!
Description : Updated 12/2/2022. This is an interesting redo of a funky and fun composition. I gave it more polish by switching to a different drum kit, swapped the flute solo for a synth, then infused more flavor into the guitars, bass and organ. Then lastly tweaking the final master. Can you tell the difference? Let me know. Enjoy.
Description : 3rd track of my future vocaloid album, Acerbus 2.Many thanks to Venuslove for the vocals, MrFunktastic for the Funk bass, Strings (left and right), and the robotic sound mainly at the beginning of the song. and Atlasblue for the Snares (sorry atlasblue that I couldn't include you in the title, only 50 characters allowed, thus I ran out of space)
