Hello T576, well if that's not the definition of smooth, then I don't know. I particularly like the note at 2:38. But of course everything that comes from your strings is simply brilbrilbrilliant... :) I'm definitely a lot more relaxed than before listening to it. Mission perfectly accomplished.
Peace,
Micky
Thank you, Micky, for the positive comment. Coming from an artist on your song writing level, I feel as though I'm still on the right path to please the listener. Sorry for the delay reply, working on some what I feel are fire tracks to upload soon, so keep an ear out it won't be long. Thaks again. PEACE. T576 OUT.
rather adult contemporary smooth jazz kinda thing. I picture mules just wandering around for some reason. Like you could put this on TikTok as a sound track to mules wandering around a field. I like mules, so it's a good thing.
Lovely track. Sublime clean guitar. Had to go back and listen twice, tho partly to catch the vinyl sounds kingmt77 noted. I too am in awe of some peoples attention to what's going on in the production. I tend to just go with the flow and if I like it I like it. Not too much analysis generally:) But this had a great flow, glad I checked in.
Thank you, Zoot, for the two time listen, and comment. Always appreciate when you take the time to show some love for a track of mine. MT and I always go back and forth trading observations and sonic critiques. As for the vinyl effect, I made it very Suttle, almost subliminal to fill in a dimension of the music that you would have to listen to it with different intentions to even know its there. I call it surgical listening. Kind of like when you can identify what frequency a sound sits in. Valuable skill to have when you're mixing and mastering and even sound designing. Thanks again. PEACE. I really do love this... So smooth and chilled. I can just imagine sitting on the beach, soaking up the sun with a cocktail, staring out into the blue ocean... Excellent work. Well done.
Thank you, Patrick, for the positive response. That sounds like the perfect scenario for the listening of this track. Thank you for stopping by. PEACE. T576 OUT.
Hello, I don't know what else to say about this song! Everything has been said. Great arrangement, wonderful melodic smooth clean guitars and keyboards. The melody is of a happy nature and is carried and staged excellently by the accompanying instruments. The musical paragraphs between the stanzas are of a more contrasting nature and bring a wonderful contrast. The slightly indicated breaks create an exciting mood. Here was a specialist at work. The only thing I don't like that much is the crass, almost hasty fade-out at the end! Did you still have a date?*smile Or why the quick exit?
Greetings Manuela
Hey Manuela hope all is well. I knew it would be someone on your level that would check me about that amateur fade out. First, thank you for listing and being totally honest with your comment. I love the musical truth about my track. Truth is it was getting late when I was finally satisfied with the overall production and mix, and decided to use a audio software I normally don't use to do the fade out. It's a new tool I need to learn how to properly use. After getting frustrated about not properly knowing how to do a professional fade out, I took the amateur mentality telling myself that's good enough I'm tired I will fix it later. Every now and then I will suffer a armature moment please forgive me. Thanks again for the truth. PEACE. T576 OUT.
Thank you, Danke, for the stop by. Sorry for the late reply, I haven't had the time to do a lot of commenting, but I appreciate your support and time. PEACE. T576 OUT.
T this is a fine piece of work, wow that vibe bro, how can another artist listen and not comment, this is so smooth its like silk on your skin the instruments sing in harmony the drum is so good bro, not stealing anything from the other instruments they sit right in the pocket, love that snap crackle and pop quote from Mark i don't think you can describe it better, agree a beautiful soft female vocal would send this soaring, but the music stands alone anyway mate, thanks for your participating in our community and sharing your exceptional talent
Thank you dime for the high compliments, but you're a one-of-a-kind artist here. Nobody here sounds like you or has your concept of writing. You have an identity sound. MT has some very keen ears. I haven't heard any other artists here work fusion like MT. it's always a pleasure when you stop by. PEACE. T576 OUT.
Exactly :) A large part of the joy for me is in playing everything myself.
I started creating songs from drum samples or using acapellas, and nothing wrong with that... but it's just fun to roll your own. So I always appreciate those who play live. Kudos!!
Yea BB I agree with you on the second comment. I don't have a problem with sample writers, I have studied music, I sight read as well as being trained in theory, yet all that has nothing to do with being able to compose a song and know what the drums should do or what the keys should do. It takes time and practice to achieve some form of success when coming up with original material, and I, like you, would rather do everything myself because I can. PEACE. T576 OUT.
What's going on BB? I appreciate the listen and the time. I haven't had a lot of time to do some listening, but you know you're on the list to check out soon. Yes, I do all the guitar work on my tracks. I rarely use samples in my productions, not that I'm prejudice against the artists that do, I have much respect for the artists that can sample write and make it sound as though they have some knowledge of music theory and understand chords and how they function. I'm Shure you understand when I say by playing a melodic instrument, we know what chord makes you feel a curtain way or put you in a particular mood. If I did use samples more often, I would just make up my own. LOL. Thanks again for the stop by and listen. PEACE. T576 OUT.
What's good T? This is a mighty fine production. The total mix is full on squeaky clean. You know that EP is present & pertinent. The bass has just the right bottom and the drum track is sitting well. But those strings are Philharmonic, on your chamber orchestra swag! Now T I'm gonna have to OUT YOU! I know you didn't think that I could possibly miss those crispy treats snapping, crackling and popping with the kick oh so subtly, did you? Fire creative touch all the way. Lastly, I'm feeling some sweet female vocals will def crown this one. Nothing too domineering but just right in there. I enjoyed what you've done here. Also take this fave and hang it on the wall. Peace.
Mark first let me say thanks for the HOLLA today, that made my day player. Now for those ears of yours, by you picking out my snap crackle and pop it just confirms my comment on your last track I listen too. Your hearing is surgical. I have to admit only because you OUTED ME, that vinyl was mint to be as close to subliminal as possible, but since you got to tell on somebody, I'm good with-it LOL. I gave it the female vocal listen and I agree with you on that idea. That would take this track to another dimension of SMOOTH. Now in reference to what we disgust today, that comment about the female vocal in a split second caused my ears to consider what I would say is your creative contribution to this track, instead of subtracting some element from the track, and it makes since. A pleasure always MT. PEACE T576 OUT.

I just put together some old ideas to see if it will work. Some vocals and brass, or guitars is clearly needed. Let me know what you think about it. Tnx
Description : Do not freak out just because this is jazz! There's also blues, rock, funk and a little hip hop in it to break up the deep, chillout jazz sections - gets particularly rocking then funky at the end. Main bassline (the track's foundation) is recycled leftover slide resonator guitar parts detuned one octave to make a slide bass sound. Also features: piano, violin, hammered dulcimer, organ, ethereal pad guitar, bass guitar, jazz/blues/rock electric guitar and multiple programmed acoustic drumkits. This was difficult to make at times as I thought I needed more leads parts eg from sax or trumpet. But I'm happyish with the end result. I expect very little interest in this as it's both jazz and long jazz. But it's also an unusual type of genre-mixing jazz. So, leave your thoughts, good or bad, if you like...
Description : This is track me and my friend (great jazz, blues musician) done
around this great vocal we acquired.
Lot of hours in it.
I had great fun making it!
Hope you people like it.
Love and peace.
Description : I think it's a late evening song to accompany you for a single drink.
Jazzy in most of the aspects. It is made single handedly so please consider it an experimentation for the thrill of making music.
Hope you will like it.
Description : This track made me just stop working on it and listen to it for enjoyment.

Description : This track contains only free loops from Stayonbeat.com and several loops from Looperman artists (listed below). I "made a promise" that my next track will be use a lot of jazzy loops - well, i done with this track, for the great sadness of jazz lovers or experts i think - i fear they will never forgive me. :) While my ISP launches my internet out of the Earth system for a long time, i had to face the fact that i dont have too much downloaded jazz loops on my computer, so i think no wonder that this one is sounds like if i smoke some marihuana while making it. But hey, who cares, i like the result - it reminds me the (maybe only) really funny episode of "Breaking Bad", where Pinkman uses some heroin and flyes up with an idiotic smile on his face - that chapter is priceless. :D
I dont think this one needs a vocal, but ofcourse you can use it if you want, and as always, just write and i will give any support as i can. Any feedback welcomed too as always. Enjoy! UPDATE 2015.10.24.: improved audio quality - lower lows, higher highs. Now in 256kbps!

Description : Something a bit different from us. I (Bobo) played guitar, synth, midi bass and percs to this piano loop by LM's most excellent Rasputin. Wataya, stoned as usual, thought he heard Barbara Streisand singing. This is the result.
Description : I created a hip hop groove in Logic and decided to duel some Saxophones. I am playing the Baritone sax on the left pan and the Tenor Sax on the right pan.
I added some bells like a boxing match bell to give it a fight drama feel. The hip hop track itself is dope to me. The duel is cool too. Who won?
Mark
Peace,
Micky
I wasn't on LM for a while and then I come back and I only hear good tracks.
This one is definitely one of them!!
