Genre is always tricky and I don't know genres very well so I usually go with weird. But I think I write in an orchestral style, albeit I have mostly abandoned traditional orchestral instruments.
The track is loosely cinematic, insofar as it describes a journey, with mystery, adventure, celebration along the way.

Great choice in drums. My wife started her early music career singing opera. (the more you know0. So she has me well versed in opera from offenbach through verdi to -Weber. I have heard it all. that sounds like Mickys voice vocoded. Well done as always.
Rob, the overall theme is pretty elaborate. The vocals are befitting as well. The synth layers and percussion with the synth bass are well rounded for this mix and honestly I was just a touch disappointed when it ended. Why? The momentum fueled that groove toward the last quarter of the song. Excellent creativity, mix, instrument selection. And those drums tho! Youre on it !

This is exactly as you describe it in your description with on exception it's not wired, it's wonderful, that guitar is the standout for sure, the whole piece was great and kept me fully engaged but the git took me on a journey, this is a lesson to anyone on how the simplest of lyrics and a chant placed properly have a huge impact on a track well done mate faced, real nice listen
