L A - No Place Like L A - Oliverzookamoo

Name: L A - No Place Like L A
Duration: 153 s
Channel: oliverzookamoo
Description: Another song I really love that I had made as a part of my ‘album’ I’d worked on! Not really sure what I would label this genre wise... It’s definitely more of a ballad with a soul ‘hip Hop’ Influence. It was kind of inspired by Lana Del Reys more recent work, vocally... Love this one I hope you guys do too!

Aw!
Great voice.
Kind of reminds me of Michael Jackson.
Is that you?
Sounds very good.
Great quality.
What is it called where the muzic shifts from one headphone to the other? That part is kind of creepy. Haha, but not bad, just weird listening in headphones. :-)
Beautiful. I love it too.

Aw! Thank you so much!! yes its me singing, production, lyrics vocals, mastering, mixing, all done by me! Thank you! The shift is just a heavy’Phaser to make it seem ‘underwater’ , ‘Dreamy’, if you perceived it as creepy, cool! The creepy, dreamy vibe is what I wanted for this track, is it a dream, is it a nightmare? you know? again thank you!

ahhh ... this is extra ... what is your goal for the collab???
very much like everything here ... the fretless bass, the voice, the mix, the mood ... but it's a snippet, I guess?!
tell me ...

Danke

Description : Technology is a great thing. But I'm glad to know that if it ever fails ... or simply isn't there ... I can always play my guitar or drums, or just sing. In any case, the power didn't go out during this production ... so it's electric. And eclectic.

Description : Atmospheric, late-night UK garage and liquid drum & bass blending deep rolling basslines, shuffled breakbeats, intimate breathy female vocals and rhythmic DJ turntablism. Chopped vocal samples and hypnotic hooks.
