Beware The Dirty Penguin King - Quantumhead
31st Jan 2009 23:38 - 17 years ago
Description : Well, I've knocked out a couple of techno stompers, so I wanted to get all chill-out hip hop for my next venture. Used lots of samples, from eveything I could get my filthy hands on. All scratching is mine, plus the keyboard, which i'm fairly chuffed about. Track is very much something you would listen to whilst smoking a foot long zoot. Solid track. Enjoy
P.s. If you like it, please leave a comment, because it very nearly failed to reach an audience. My laptop is on her last legs and I haven't backed up................ever, come to think of it. Too busy constructing ear candy

Description : Technology is a great thing. But I'm glad to know that if it ever fails ... or simply isn't there ... I can always play my guitar or drums, or just sing. In any case, the power didn't go out during this production ... so it's electric. And eclectic.

Description : Atmospheric, late-night UK garage and liquid drum & bass blending deep rolling basslines, shuffled breakbeats, intimate breathy female vocals and rhythmic DJ turntablism. Chopped vocal samples and hypnotic hooks.
