Memory - Buhduzit
26th Apr 2019 22:21 - 7 years ago
Description : Abstract sound art that has a sassy "melody" in there. It's as vague as a memory and very selective in what it reveals - don't trust it.

Absolutely fantastic. I love the change at 3:53. Even though it lacks conventional structure and instrumentation it's engaging all the way through. Amazing.

Im glad you enjoyed it, I find alternative song structures to be really engaging so try to do that in my work sometimes. You should check out my SC page (only 5 songs up there), you might enjoy some of the work I have there :()

Thanks man. That's what I love about music - each person has their own interpretation of it that's moulded by their environment/life/experiences :)

I like how it's different. My ears are so tired of the same old thing. Thanks for something new. Is that Hendrix at the beginning?
Buhduzit replied 27th Apr 2019 - 7 years ago
Thanks, Im glad you found the change refreshing. I only used two samples in the track and the one from the beginning was a voice on the radio I downloaded form this site.

Description : I'm gonna file this under Drum and Bass due to the beats I used. Though it's probably not DnB in the strictest sense of the word, as it starts off with a Cinematic vibe till the beats kick in (apologies for that, as I don't have a vast knowledge of DnB!). Apart from the beats and a couple of other loops, all synth/bass parts are played by me using ThornCM, Poly Max and Z3ta+ vst's. Let me know what you think? All feedback is always appreciated. Thanks.
