Description : (UPDATED 3/19 - Big thanks to HenryPascal for pointers) Farisha you have such a beautiful voice, I can't wait to see what you bring to 2019. You have a new fan!
Oh yeeeesss, oh yeeeeessss, ooooooooooooh yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeessss! I'm so happy i help you to reach a better sound! More fatty bass, pads at the right moment, vocal treatment puts something more to this!!! Absolutely yesss!
that's amazing! I love how you just used "da da da" for your vocals! It works very well and has inspired me to do some similar stuff. I never do vocals because I can't think of words *and I cant sing, but we have autotune and vocoding right?*
Very true, we have all kinds of stuff that can be used to get a good vibe going, no matter the voice. Thank you for your kind words, I hope your inspiration continues to grow!
I played twice, trying to understand the way you dressed the track. You did a nice, nice, niiiiceeee job! In the second listening (technical one) i found something you can fix: bassline needs some energy (the driving one is too light, add a fretless guitar bassline in mono, one octave down, set it as mono), here needs some adding pads (the existing ones are too little, add some orchestral with high frequency cut filter, then set as stereo, optional a subtle flanging/phasing) last (but not least)raise the vocals just a bit (some parts are difficult to understand, you can add a vocals compression, in the chorused parts optional a ultra thin flanging). I set this as fav, Farisha is one of the best singers here on Looperman, it's been a long time i want to do something with her voice, then you came with this masterpiece! Gran bel lavoro!
SUPER helpful comment, I used some not-up-to-par headphones to do all the mixing and editing, but got the first listen from another medium today. I appreciate the feedback! I really didn't want to overdo a lot of the sounds, so I cut some of the sound from the orchestral pad I have running in the back and also cut the bass of my Saw lead. I will adjust them and bring the voice forward a bit more. Thank you, thank you again!
Description : I have been using LooperMan for practice for some time now. This my most recent track. The only loop in the song is BabyGee's vocals. Free to download and if you repost tag me so I can share it as well.
Description : A psychedelic techno cello epic. It's not really techno as it's only 110 BPM but something like that (eg breakbeat), with lots of banging beats and arpeggiated acid synths, plus a whole load of my layered cello playing techniques. There aren't that many synths used but they do a lot of work and are carefully automated. No guitar. Drums are mostly a lot of drum loops, supported by a few programmed acoustic drumkits. Very busy and complicated with loads of different sections (funky, chilled, fast, heavy) that make up a constantly progressing trip. I don't know if there's any other cello music like this so let me know if you think there is. Interesting feedback appreciated - criticism, praise, ideas etc. Enjoy...
Description : Summer type dance track, for those precious 2 weeks off, if you can get them! Made around a selection of different loops and some keys from me.
Description : Inspired by an experimental percussion piece I heard. Rhythmic ticking builds into pounding beats and heavy soundscapes. I haven't done any mixing or mastering yet so tell me what you think. Any and all comments are welcome.
Well done.
