Tight werk! I can hear a nice laid back hook on it. I don't consider myself a rapper, but I do consider myself a lyrically inclined individual, let know the direction you going with the trax as far as concept and I would be willing to take a swing at doing a hook.

effectively, this sound is allowed listen with pleasure, highly-rated repetitive finally is not annoying, I was afraid that it creates a certain dullness but it's not the case! Really dig the deep atmosphere in this one! nice job for a first track!

Thank you very much! I’m always weary about being repetitive in a track. But I agree this track does well with the amount of layers it has. Thank you for your feedback though I really appreciate it!

I feel you. Don't do it because I suggested it, keep it like it is if thats what you were going for.

It just feels like there's a mid/low range thats missing which the sub should be occupying so its a little weird to me, but do you brotha.

Dope beat, definitely dig it.

a couple pieces of feedback:

I'm not sure if this is the word i'm looking for but the drums seem overcompressed as hell. Either that or it sounds like the frequency of the bass is interfering with itself. This is hard to explain so see this link if you don't know what i'm talking about and are interested: https://courses.lumenlearning.com/boundless-physics/chapter/interactions-with-sound-waves/

The melody sounds good but does seem to get a little repetitive so maybe add some variation throughout in different ways

The overcompression of the drums is kind of the vibe I was going for. I like to keep things light but also bring in a darker gritty feel. I do that with the drums. Mabye I can lower the amount of compression. Thank you for your feedback though! I’ll deff have more to come :)
