Description : I wanted to create something dark and romantic with an RnB and retro wave touch. This song has a retro futurism feel to it. I was inspired by The Weeknd when I was writing this song, especially his first mixtape, House Of Balloons, hence the deep roamntic analogies in the songwriting. I feel that the pitchshift/slowing down was a little bit too much that it distorted the original idea, but if that's what you wanted, good for you.
I think the echo effect/layer effect is too much when it's used through the whole track. Maybe just at a couple parts to give more emphasis would be better? I know you did do more at some parts than other parts, but even more variety would be great imo.
i do agree it could become clunky because of the echo / delay.
the layered higher pitch vocals was a last minute decision. it was all plain one track based vocals.
