Description : hi guys, so the object here was to write an original Christmas track that has all the Christmas trimmings but also brings home a few stark reminders, things that you don't necessarily think about as you selfishly open your presents with your families, i would describe it as a modern day festive treat, it has nods to the old, and the true meaning of Christmas, this is so not what you'd expect from dime, lol, tbf Im gassed about it :)

Yes, pretty depressing lyrics. Kind of a musical "reality sucks" vibe going. Great singing and backing track. I really liked the low intensity, intimate approach to the vocals. It worked really well.
And the lyrics are great, really casual.
The second you said "My friends are dicks (sorry if I'm wrong thats just what I heard) it drew me right in.
You have a real talent dude, I have no criticism to say about this.
And yes you're hearing that correctly! Glad you enjoyed it!
I'm older now and when I look back, it's all the tough times and not so great moments that I have persevered that have made me who I am. Of course you have to suffer through a tough life first to get to appreciate it, lol. But it makes good song material.

I just didn't feel anything, unlike your earlier works. It's great to
expand your musical boundaries, however be careful not to lose the
edge you have with your vocals.
