The Christmas Rose
C I was in the garden in December
G/B Hanging Christmas lights forever
Am Fussing about looking good
G Trying to wow the neighborhood
C When the little girl who lives next door
G/B Came outside and closed the door
Am She was shivering in her summer clothes
G And barefoot she snuck to my garden and
F stole a rose F
C Her face was pale and her eyes were wet
G/B I was unseen behind trees she went
Am to her Daddy coming out the door
Gsus Suitcase packed full G on the floor
Am He swept her up in a fierce embrace
G/B And she reached out and touched his face
Am And though her anxious eyes were red
Bb I won’t forget just what she said Bb/C
C Daddy will you take this rose
C/D back to Mama please
C/E I know that you’ve been fighting for
C Daddy won’t you run back to her; it’s
C/E I believe you love her so
F Give her this glorious Christmas rose
G And dance with her on Ab Christmas Eve
Bb Until the sunlight breaks on
G/B Christmas morning
C He held her close and thought a while
G/B Then stood up and gazed down at his child, he said
Am “I’m afraid it’s gone too far.”
G He walked away, got in his car
C She hurried to the side window
G/B Said “Mama has been sick you know”
Am But she’s loved you her entire life
G Go back to her, forgive your wife
Am And she held out that red Christmas rose
G/B Hands held out and her eyes closed
Am He was about to drive away
Bb When tears ran down her face and she sang
F He threw the car in park and
F/G flung the door open wide
F/ATook that Christmas rose,
Bb kissed his child and went inside
Ab As I stood there draped in Christmas lights
Gsus knew that it was finally Christmas G time
Description : Some Kind of a country Instrumental I Made for my love one. I'm Far away from her so i just wanna express my emotions through this melodies.
Description : Here is a country song that I wrote and recorded. I played all the instruments and sang (not the best singer but its fun) as well, drums are from ezdrummer. If you like the track feel free to download it and thanks for listening.
Description : This is my second country pop acapella and I would love it that if a producer can give my acapella an instrumental that is country/pop/soul with 1970s R&B elements and if you guys have the right instrumental for my acapella, post it on my email address and I would think about collaborating with you for my upcoming project.
Description : Here attached is a new country tune I put together using several loops I bought off a disk set. I call it 'Old Tyme Country' as it is close to being Bluegrass as well. (Bluegrass usually has a Mandoline, Fiddle and a 5-string Banjo, and a rhythm guitar at least).
This instrumental features no guitars or regular drums. Rhythm here is provided by a Dulcimer, a Shaker and a drum like instrument called a Djembe. (An instrument from Africa, looking like a tall Bongo drum)
An acoustic stand-up Bass is used along with a 4 string Banjo, and the Fiddle is the main instrument.
Put all these together and this is the sound you can have. Hope you'll like it.
Description : A fun, upbeat Southern Country Rock style song. Me on all instruments except MIDI drums and Apple percussion loops. My vocals as well.
Description : Hi ya,
Well, here is my latest country tune...called "Welcome to Nashville". It is an instrumental. Maybe someone will add vocals to it? Also I added a screenshot of the 'ProTools' program I used to put the song together so you can see what it looks like with in a software program as completed.
The song is uptempo featuring an acoustic guitar for rhythm, also an electric rhythm guitar doing more of a vamping sound to add in fill to the overall rhythm.
Also has lead guitar which is quite busy throughout, and Drums, Bass, fiddle and pedal steel round out the song.
Hope you like it.
Description : OLD TIME COUNTRY & BLUEGRASS MUSIC. Doing a Country/Blue Grass thing here.
Description : I recorded two versions of this song that were written for me by my daughter. One is slow and this track is more upbeat. Thanks for listening ..
Description : Country Rock / pop song I wrote. Tried some slide guitar, banjo and harmonica. Enjoy and leave comments, please.
Description : I had a dream a few years ago that my Mom was still alive and she met my wife for the first time. This song is about that dream.
This should be classed as Country Rock or Southern Rock but those genres aren't available.
Using a fender Strat on the left, Gibson Les Paul on the right…intro lead is the LP and outro lead is the Strat. Drums written in MIDI. Harmonica, vocals, bass performed by yours truly.
Feedback is always welcome.
Description : This is my first serious attempt at a country song.
I am playing all instruments except for the drums....they are MIDI.
The song allowed me the opportunity to try my son-in-laws 1981 Gibson J40 acoustic, my new Dean Resonator Guitar and my new harmonica.
I hope you enjoy.
Description : If a girl wanted to do the chorus and a I can do the verse and we can make lryics to so if your a good writer your wanted. if interested send me a comment below
Description : This is the best backing track I could come up with for my Country (?) lyrics. It has taken 4 years (off & on)to come up with a finished tune. I tried to get someone else to sing it to no avail, so I did it. I misplaced the audio file s I don't know if any Looperman folks loops are in it.
Description : My first shot at contry rock so i hope is well received
Description : This collab is with the OCR Boys, (Bobby & Steve), DJ's at KickinCountry101.com. I got the bass, acoustic tracks and drums and Bobbys vocals. I dusted off the harmonica, brought out the oldFender Strat, the pedal steel and the midi-guitar for the fiddle parts for this one. Not my usual fare but I had been in a few country bands back when country was cool in the 90's. A great Nashville sounding song about growing up on the great Tennessee River.Comments always welcome. - Bilbozo
