Description : Today was kind of a game changer for me. I figured out musical typing in my DAW, so instead of notating a score in Noteflight and then importing it over to my DAW, I played in all of the parts manually, which meant that I got more irregular, organic performance, instead of precision-perfect. I also ended up mixing, producing, and composing at the same time, which is different from my usual process which usually starts with composition first--and this time I found it easier to establish a groove. So it was definitely a day with a new process, and I think it contributed to my education as an EDM composer.

Description : I wanted to create something dark and romantic with an RnB and retro wave touch. This song has a retro futurism feel to it. I was inspired by The Weeknd when I was writing this song, especially his first mixtape, House Of Balloons, hence the deep roamntic analogies in the songwriting. I have sung this song myself and produced it too. No AI used here. This is an old song.

Really cool piece especially since you played all the parts. I can hear some of the synths slightly off but honestly I don't really see it as a flaw, rather a genuine music style derived from very slight human error.
I also find that some mixing to an extent along the creative musical process as an advantage because it helps to create a clearer musical picture. But in the end it all depends on the individual.

Sounds for me like you are on a good way with this "irregular" way of makeing music :)
