Description : Hey guys I'm back once again! This time I remixed a folk song and tried to add some tropical elements to it. I really loved the original so I hope I did it justice! It isn't mixed and or mastered to my liking, so any comments on what needs to be fixed would be really appreciated! Also, any critiques you have on any elements on the song would be great because I really wanna get this one perfect! Here's to celebrating 9 months of me producing! Thank you all for the support!

Loving that echoey whistle synth thing btw.
You said your looking for some ways you could improve. The only thing i noticed during listening is the drum in the buildup to the chorus seems too prominent, maybe its too dry maybe give it a little reverb or something and drop the volume...
But thats me really nitpicking haha

Also, just listened to the original - that guy is good!
I noticed that the vocals pop out more in the original compared to your mix. I think it's just cus you have more going on in the low end of your mix... SO maybe slightly eq down the low end of the vocals and slightly eq the high ends up :D because right now it sounds a bit muddy
other than that it sound great! those builds at 1:10 and 3:13 work well in this mix but they have been so overdone - - - just saying :)
