ok, first things first, you need to sort out your percussion, your drums have no power and are basic samples, what you need to look for is VEC Vengeance Essential Clubbers, these are huge sample packs which will definitely blow your mind and your tracks, i like the melodic idea, however it is repetitive, look at a plug in called Nexus, its a basic plug in with patches which i think would suit you just fine,

you want a big kick layered up with another big kick to make it huge, use a shortened closed hi hat to layer over that so your kick will cut through the mix, then on every 2nd kick use a distorted snare or clap but be careful on the volume, use it as more of a mask than actually in the mix, then use an open hi hat on the offbeats, also accompany this with bass, then to make your drums more interesting, try using a ride on your kick drum, and then another short closed hi hat in between your open hi hat on the off beats,

music is about experimenting, it just seems like you want it but you just aren't doing it, try using snare roles, automate a snare roll coming in using the volume, if your using fruity, then just use the velocity bars at the bottom of your piano roll,

i could go on forever however this might point you in some sort of direction, trance needs strings too, try playing around with chords,

im diggin it but you should add echo to some parts of the vocals with some space reverb and a break down towards the middle of the song with a quick change up on the synth but all in all i like it.. if i may ask if you have the vocals by it self could you send me it in a zip wav or mp3 perhaps.. if not its understandable..

Yeah M2000 said exactly what i was thinkin...NEEDS a bassline badly!!! The whole point of a dance tune is to get a groove goin, which comes from a kick and bassline. Then you can stick whatever you want on top....

I know its hard man....best way to approach this is listen to top trance tunes .....really listen to them....thats what i do...how they blend the sounds, what makes you move and groove, then try to do what they do....know what i mean???? dont copy them but once you get it you'll never look back man!!! Keep at it, coz you got shitloads of potential!! Honestly!!

AHHHH!!!! I had a page long review written and I accidentally pressed cancel... Well I will summarize... When the vocals say it's just one more... that is when I would bring in the beat. Then run the lead through a filter when they die down and use a cymbal or something to bring it back in. The lead is a little repetitive, but good. It holds the lowest part of the arp to long... it goes high lower loweeeeeeeeeeeeest, maybe you could go high lower lowest highest? Just some ideas, and maybe another lead, something echoey. You also need a bassline, and they are not hard to create. Take an analog synth use two saw waves and set them in octave 2 with high filter frequencies.
