The Last Post - Billydragon1
14th Oct 2014 12:24 - 12 years ago
Description : Just a tribute to a family member that passed away in September. At the funeral service, they played the last post for him, as you do with any military association which was memorable. Life is too short, can't believe that 4 people I know very close have passed away this year. Feel free to dwnld and share. Peace be with you in these troubling days. Composed in Magix. Bugle sampled from youtube.

Description : I'm gonna file this under Drum and Bass due to the beats I used. Though it's probably not DnB in the strictest sense of the word, as it starts off with a Cinematic vibe till the beats kick in (apologies for that, as I don't have a vast knowledge of DnB!). Apart from the beats and a couple of other loops, all synth/bass parts are played by me using ThornCM, Poly Max and Z3ta+ vst's. Let me know what you think? All feedback is always appreciated. Thanks.

Description : Technology is a great thing. But I'm glad to know that if it ever fails ... or simply isn't there ... I can always play my guitar or drums, or just sing. In any case, the power didn't go out during this production ... so it's electric. And eclectic.

Description : Atmospheric, late-night UK garage and liquid drum & bass blending deep rolling basslines, shuffled breakbeats, intimate breathy female vocals and rhythmic DJ turntablism. Chopped vocal samples and hypnotic hooks.
