Hey. Really nice one you got here. I throughly enjoyed the listen. How are you? The synth solo around 2:10 is proper. Chord progressions are pertinent as well. Peace.

I'm glad I didn't miss this. I can hear that you have a knack for choosing the right music for your voice and range, which is SMOOTH AND GOOD. a lot of vocalists choose songs that are just plain out of there range, making them at some point have to strain or HOLLER to get past the higher notes of the music. Ive never heard you have this problem. Beautiful remake Player. PEACE. T576 OUT.

Sorry to hear about you being hacked it seems GREATNESS! always attracts such types of people. If I had a youtube account I would absolutely subscribe/support your channel in a heartbeat, Iv never felt any desire to create a channel of my own (Who knows maybe one day) but for now I only upload here on LM because I love to write/sing when I get time to, it's a good platform to post my work.

I'm all about supporting my fellow musicians but I'm also careful because people have found ways to steal my vocals without asking my permission so I'm not much for social media.

I did however watch the video and I have to say what a brilliant!! and reflective mood it carries not to mention how beautifully the video has been shot. It absolutely captures the whole vibe of the song perfectly. I'm seriously so impressed with it all and thank you enormously for leaving the link, OUTSTANDING! work indeed. Bravo! :)

Hello Beautiful! Thank for stopping by over there! I'm happy to know you enjoyed the video! Yeah, Social Media can be a blessing and a curse. Unfortunately, for Indie Artist (who don't have a machine of pro folks supporting them) it's a necessary evil. It is very key to growing a fanbase coupled with an artist website. I am lazy when it comes to the business side of music, and it IS a business. So I literally have to force myself to get everything done that needs to be.

The distributor I use (CDbaby) is full service, so they handle a lot of the matters that deal with securing mechanical licenses, collecting specific publishing royalties, sync licensing, etc. So those things are off my shoulders but there is still a lot more that has to be done. They host an annual 3 day Indie DIY Conference every year. A lot of Industry experts, as well as Indie Artists from all over the world attend. It's networking on steroids, with keynote addresses, and break-out sessions, and live shows. It's a worldwide community of artists with a common goal. It's inspiring. I have had a blast every time I attend one of them, in addition to the wealth of knowledge gained.

This year it's in Austin, Texas. Unfortunately, I can't attend due to a gig happening around the same tine. Anyways, I am yakking too much! If you want to know more about the Conference please shoot me a message. Thanks sooooo much again!

Oh yes indeed! they say *Save The Best Til Lst* & here I am listening to one of my fave Male Vocalist with the smoothest voice ever!...This is My kind of music & Jill Scott is one of my fave artist so I'm right at home listening to this, i was singing along with you too haha...Mykael, you absolutely hit a home run!!! with this one & then some, I'll just go cool off before starting my day. A couple years back I got hacked over there, and lost just about all my comments and likes, so being extremely disheartened I turned my focus to my website and pretty much abandoned YouTube. Lovely work this! Great vocal, lovely keys, great percussion. I could use a bit more bass and drums in the mix but that might well be my cheap earphones in the train, so take that with a grain of salt.
Top notch! I'm off to listen to your newer tracks... Oh, and since you are a great singer... I could your voice on my track ;)

This is a really well produced radio friendly bit of R&B. Is that you singing? You can hold a tune fella! I'm always a little jealous when i hear productions like this as it makes my bunch of mashed up loops pale in comparison.

But, with the reception it's gotten so far here, I am honestly thinking of making it the sole cover tune on my sophomore CD which is forever in production. wow, this is crazy good.
didn't know the original but this is outstanding and very inspiring.
i just played it back a few times and felt the urge to jam some keys to that. it feels very natural and it's a joy to play alongside. very soulful, i love this.

some nice work...like you've already said that snare needs more snap..

the vocal sits nicely... I would add a backing track and swing it more to the right because most of the vocal is quite left in the mix...

the bass might need to come up a little in the mix maybe even make a sub instance to give it more weight because its lovely you want the listener to feel the bass as well as hear it ..

that solo might need to come up a tiny bit at the start not sure if it's faded in or what but that volume needs to be there...

you might wanna expand on the dynamics of the stereo field a little too...just use a plugin like flux to give the mix a bit of sparkle... maybe even EQ a boost on the master at around 16000hz ..

I really enjoyed this brother keep them coming ..
