Amazing work, Mark! Love this tune! Love every instrument especially the guitar, trumpet and FX used...especially those beach waves and chirping of birds(actually u could lower this fx a bit)....
And as some of the users said u could really fade the beat transition at 1:40..
Track's professionally mastered
Chillout/Ambience fans would love this
fantabulous piece....!!
Maybe u could upload some FX used and help on my track Chillout track....PLZ :-(
Many thanks for your kind comments and for listening to soothing sea. Very much appreciated and would be more than happy to help out on your tracks, drop me an email if you like. Once again many thanks,
peaceful, pleasing to the ears, nice rhythm, lots of color, well produced... these are the thoughts as I listened to this track. Great job. Love the bass line toward the end and the guitar.
So pleased you liked it and it sounds like we hit the effect that we wanted, just a nice chillout on the beach feeling. A big thank you for your time and comments.
What an awesome find!! Top notch from start to finish. All the elements are so well laid out. I will be definitely stopping by to catch your other stuff. Artistic and professional sound! Superb!
ah yes...another gem from the vault...(keep digging them out Mark)...and proof that you always did have your composing & production chops together...I don`t know what you might want to change but after listening I would be inclined to say "Oh Yeah"...and consider it done...Its got a great R&B flavour and the guitar adds a touch of blues..Definite fav for me my friend...keep em coming....Ed
Hi Ed
Thanks for you usual honest and respected opinion. It has certainly given me more confidence to upload some of my earlier efforts!
Thanks again, take care and speak soon
Mark/Larry!
This was my first time listening to a track from the chill genre, and I really didn't know what to expect...but once I heard it..I said to myself oh, so this is chill music. The name really speaks for itself. This is a nice track. I can close my eyes and let the music take me to another place.
Great sounds and a great mix..good work.
Thanks for your comments, that is a real big compliment for you to stop by, listen and comment on this type of music. a real big thank you for your time and really pleased you liked our attempt at chill out.
Hi Doudei
Many thanks for stopping by and listening. Your comments are much appreciated and welcomed. Really pleased you liked the track.
Best wishes
Mark/Larry!
This is definitely an awesome piece. I don't usually comment so when I do it's because something has grabbed me.
Has somewhat of a Jeff Beck feel but with tranquility. Nice!

So, I'm sitting in my office at work, listening to your track while I'm trying to edit a report on enforcement approaches for consumer protection agencies. I'm not being very successful, because I keep getting distracted by your most excellent music. (Don't tell my boss!) I don't think this multi-tasking is going to work! :) I'll just have to stop the editing. Your music is much more interesting.
So glad we have been able to distract you with this track and glad you like. Hope we have made your editing more bearable...and don't worry we will keep it from your boss!.
This sounds like a pretty damn good mix to me. Maybe sea is too loud when it comes back in in the second minute but that's no big deal.
As I've said before, I obviously have less respect if nothing has been played by the maker of the music (it means I don't know who has played the parts so whose skill I'm listening to) but this all sits so well and is a fantastic collection of sounds.
Guitar part starting 2:19 is lovely playing. Classic and fluid with a great tone.
Little bits of classical guitar there too. And then trumpet. A lot of stuff to list here.
Some classic hip hoppish grooves.
I think that anyone who likes anything at all on the chillout side of things would like this.
Just a real big thank you for your comments, and I really appreciate the time and effort you put in to your comments, good or bad they are constructive and I do try to take them on board.
This song is floating away...professional chill out...from 2.20 is outstanding...that electric, acoustic, brass triumph is out of control...:-) fabulous piece...
Good to hear from you, and really pleased you like my attempt at chill out...that means an awful lot to me and your comments are very much appreciated and respected.
Finaly!:) I was waiting for this one to appear here...was impressed when listening to it on the loopradio!Pleasing chill out ambience we have here! There can't be much to change...if anything, maybe the very beggining is a bit shaky and it needs smoother fade-in and perhaps (but that's just personal preference)the bird's sounds could possibly be leveled a bit lower in the mix, but all in all great job Mark!
I think you should have no major doubts when it comes to sharing some earlier material...may there be many more.:)
It was a choice between one of my newer pieces or an older track, but your comments after listening to it on loopradio convinced me to put Soothing Sea on looperman, so many thanks for your encouragement. A big thanks for listening again and for your valued comments. Yes I did overdo the bird sounds a bit... I wanted seagulls but they were asking too much!! Take care Orlando and speak soon.
Some very nice ambiance in the intro! I know you said you would change a few things but it sounds pretty damn good to me! Has an almost morcheeba vibe at time which i like a lot! I love it when it kicks in at 1:40 very cool. Maybe the transition from there into the next bit could be a tad smoother but its not really that bad. This one is getting faved for sure! :)
Description : Sounds of the sea and trippy acidy washes with a cool beat and some live acoustic guitar. Written in Cubase with live guitar and keys etc. The sound of the sea and birds was recorded on the beach where I used to live. After moving to the city one sunny day I was telling stories to a friend about living by the sea and started making this track.
Description : This improv recorded a few years ago powered my interest even further than I expected.....recorded using tc electronics pedal and tascam studio recorder and a Fender Squier tele electric....
Description : I used some new "Anthem" pickups from L.R. Baggs on my Martin acoustic to see how it performed, and it definitely beat my expectations. Captured the sound perfectly as I needed.
Anyhoo, this song is almost a prayer, hence the repetitiveness of the verses. As Christians, we believe that God will one day return and take away every suffering and all evil for good; in that regard, this song is almost one of waiting too. Very simple, with vocal harmonies and whatnot. Hope you enjoy this as much as I did making it. Made in 13 hours.
Someone else wrote the words, I was just inspired to use them. I only added the "Yeah" and "Amen."
Description : This is a track off of one of my EP's I dropped last year. It is based on True events. Sometimes when people finally take a second in life to slow down and breathe in..... The oxygen is deflated and it's too late. Take your time people, because time is what differs a good decision over a bad one. Life is precious!

Description : So a guy buys a nice guitar at a pawn shop but returns it a few days later after waking from a sound sleep to hear it playing by itself. When he tells of his experience he is shocked to learn the owner had actually died while playing it. Is it fantasy or truth? Is the guitar in this track that very same guitar? Its all part of the mystery and fun of Halloween !
EDIT: modified ending to a deeper voice
Description : This track describes a magical state that I experienced a long time ago. Maybe you also know the feeling that you can't describe something like this with words ... luckily we have the music for it!
Description : So this is my first Chill Outish track. I was just trying something new and then suddenly this was a thing. Everything you hear is home made. I hope you enjoy. - Mr. Spook'd
Description : That's something i worked out lately
a swing 3/4 hip hop Chill ?? Don't know how to describe this kind of music.
Anyway VOICE NEEDED

Description : A progressive journey incorporating deep ambient chillout, swing jazz, hip hop, d'n'b, trance and a slight touch of acid with a thousand ninjas battling in space. Features a great deal of my lead slide resonator guitar playing. Also a whole load of synths, programmed acoustic drum kits and manipulated drum loops, big basslines, regular electric guitar, vocoded guitar parts and bass guitar (distorted right at the end). If you like deep chill, far out soaring beauty, fat beats and 170 BPM uplifting slide trance controlled mayhem, you might just get into this. In my heaven there is an endless supply of honey mangoes (an exquisite beauty of the fruit world) and even more slide guitar. A 1,000-year-long version of this track plays there on a loop (long enough not to get bored of it) but here I offer you the Earthly 11 min version. You must be very good to be accepted into my heaven to hear the full thousand year version so best start now. It may be heaven's main theme tune but it's not above criticism so feel free to let me know what you think of it. Maybe you prefer the soundtrack in hell. I hear it's pretty badass...

The birds and seashore stuff are cool.
As are the little bongo (?) percussion parts.
Climbing delayed synths eg 0:40 are great.
