Dilligence Feat Patroklus - 6Hat
26th Nov 2013 02:46 - 12 years ago
Description : I took a couple poems by a very talented Looperman poet and but some drums and tunes behind 'em, and withoutmyarmor has some words for the chorus. It's a somber, thoughtful piece based on a simple piano/organ loop, but evolves and changes often. And you gotta wait for the last verse, they're Patroklus's best words. I did however have to shorten the intro and outro to make it fit. Bummer.

the "chorus" is really beautiful. i like the sound of the voice. neat effect on it. lost in a dream yet existing in a world of fantasy. i like the electric guitar touches. they are perfect. the piano soloing at the end really winds it down smoothly. you were working the end beautifully. did you purposely cut it hard off like that?!

Thanks for the listen, glad you dug it. And I'm real glad you mentioned the guitar, i've been on the fence about how it's used. And yea, for some reason the mp3 is HUGE, so I had to cut the intro and outro short to make it fit on looperman
