Violation - Felix

Name: Violation
Duration: 175 s

Description: Written & performed by Felix and J Man. Produced by Felix the Producer A song to really vibe with the mood on our project 'LSD'. J Man on the feature really closed the song out well. The verses are pretty personal in meaning. I think we killed it. What do you think? Take a listen. Leave feedback, good or bad. Thanks in advance!

Yo man, im here to return the favor, and im glad I did, cause you have a nice vibe going on, and nice lyrics flowing in well with the (amazing!) beat! I love the vibe the beat gives, it puts your mind on thinking focus, mixed with wise words and thats all i expect from a hiphop song. Keep up the good work man, your almost there! maybe a little thing, try turning up the vocals a tiny bit more, sometimes the beat make it almost impossible to hear the lyrics, especially in the drum parts. aside from that amazing track man!

Felix replied 7th Nov 2013 - 13 years ago

Thank you for this. I am glad the beat stands out. I'm a producer first. I just started rapping this year. And you are right about the vocals. I will turn them up in the Final mix. Thank again for the feedback & critique. It is appreciated.

Description : I wanted to create something dark and romantic with an RnB and retro wave touch. This song has a retro futurism feel to it. I was inspired by The Weeknd when I was writing this song, especially his first mixtape, House Of Balloons, hence the deep roamntic analogies in the songwriting. I have sung this song myself and produced it too. No AI used here. This is an old song.
