this one is amazing. it could be one of the best samples ive ever heard in a track that vocal loop you used with the many different people talking about the war in iraq. very inspirational loved it!

Thanks ...I got my inspiration from this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AUV69LZbCNQ and created my own video incorporating other footage. Check it out here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=utZ-vkPBc7g

I think that this piece is brilliant. I may need you when I run for office.Lol. Seriously, that was a compelling piece that delivers the message. Just hope enough people get to hear it.

miots 28th Oct 2008 03:56 - 18 years ago

oh, i was talking about the song...

miots 28th Oct 2008 02:23 - 18 years ago

very nice work here dude...the song kind of sounds to me a bit like Dream Theater's Sacrificed Sons, specially because of the speech on top of the music, and it's got a bit of a prog feel to it. Very nice editing work fellow! i never noticed a single chop or wrong sounding transition! congratulations

alkie replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

thanks very much miots now were you talking about the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=utZ-vkPBc7g or the song by itself.

TheDuped 11th Sep 2008 04:16 - 18 years ago

Nice touch....It has a feeling of early eighties for me and that in no way was a diss.....Awesome track nice riffs on the guitars... are they live ?.....Im new on here and will be uploading some stuff soon I hope I can get some feed back off you and who knows maybe colab on some work....The Duped (c)

alkie replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

thanks duped the guitars are loops by Greg Diaz(acoustic) and Jeff Ballew(electric). Can`t wait to hear your stuff. Where in UK are you?
Cheers Alkie.

ishmael_in_the_fog 10th Sep 2008 16:15 - 18 years ago

you got that right, nice transitions. the beginning guitar sounds so familiar? pretty sweet dubs.

alkie replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

thanks muchly fusion the acoustic guitar at the start was 10 loops from Greg Diaz.

Triii_C 9th Sep 2008 23:14 - 18 years ago

This is a soothing, laid back beat that captures your soul after the first few moments. It really fit the chosen vocalization. Good work!

alkie replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

cheers to that and thanks very much for listening.

helven 6th Sep 2008 17:36 - 18 years ago
