Description : A little ditty i conjured up this afternoon. I just got reason (3 unfortunately) and am trying to learn it. In the meantime I have been recording sounds from reason and importing them into reason (rewire will not work, crashes the programs?? any advice?). I really don't like reason's sequencer for some reason. Anyways, hoping this will help a little bit on the quality and get me closer to the sound that I want. This is obviously a work in progress, but I wanted the looperman critique on the general sound quality (is the bass muddy, etc.) I only have 6.5" woofers (Samson Rubicon 6a's) and am curious what the response is on larger woofers. Anyway, just another track I am working on, expect better things to come! After listening to my first track (not posted thank god!) I realize how far I have come in just a few months, and I have to say I would probably not be doing so well if it weren't for this wonderful community!!! (5ketch I promise to work on our collab track soon, but I think learning reason first might help) ok, I think I have used enough parenthesis for a day

I wish I could figure out how to make d n' b like this with reason. Speaking of that, how did you get those roeverse sweeping sounds around 0:30, i'd really like to incorporate that into some songs.

Thanks! The reverse sweeping sounds that I think you are talking about @ :30 are simply the drums reversed. thanks for listening!

you just get better and better. don't worry too much about travis he's the eternal critic. but i agree with visionz about the track sounding a little boxy, he's told me the same thing, but that's only minor.
gud ##### bro, keepm comin

Thanks!!! BTW how are things in oz? Thanks for turning me on to spor and ewun! I think I see what you guys are saying about it being boxy, there are no real high highs or low lows. Like it needs a frequency expansion. Any ideas? Thanks bro!

Other than the bass being a little too heavy (in my opinion), I thought this was a damn good DnB track. Boy, I wish to God I could figure out how you guys do these!? Lots of talent! PEACE.

The only real trick I have is the reece bass: it consists of 3 Malstrom synths, saw wave with the oscillators tuned about 35 cents from the root key in a combinator (working in reason), run into distortion (scream 4) and phaser effects. After I record some midi, I duplicate the combinator putting this one through a Low pass with the low end really juiced up. Other then that, just tweaking and playing. Thanks for listening

The reece is nice but you are lacking a sub bass. The drums need lots of work.
---------------
What I meant to say is that you lack a sub bass it is just a sine wave that it deep. You would hear what I mean in my track called "PhazTek."

Really? The last review said there was too much sub bass. Yeah there is a lot of work in store for this track, stay tuned!!
